We both visited this extremely busy bakers while visiting the local area, the shop itself appeared to be very clean and popular with the locals, the pies were tasty and well seasoned, the cakes were delicious, we both would have no problem in recommending this establishment to anyone.

Called in for a coffee and snack very busy but thought that the staff were working very hard but as a former retail manager i thought that could be less stress for the staff by better working pratices

I visited some years ago so was very pleased to see cafe is still there and has not changed at all. The friendliest helpful staff, comfy seating, large choice of food nicely presented and excellent value

Bacon roll and a coffee for a fiver is good value. Coffee was nice and hot which is not always the case in cafes. Only downside was the place didint open until 8.30am on a Saturday which seems a bit late to me but then again the town isnt that busy.
Friendly service, spotlessly clean and three rolls and sausage, three cakes and three drinks for £10. That's what I call good value. Traditional baker's cafe and takeaway.

I remember Blacks bakery as I grew up in Dunoon.My brother was a baker for Charlie Black as a young man, & became a Master Baker, while working for Charlie Black ..They used to have a shop in Argyll St...I miss it all, I live in America, for the last 46 years, but DUNOON is my home....s
