Nice little place to have a refreshment. The place was clean, staff were friendly, the food was home made. And the prices were very reasonable. If in Dunoon again I would happily go back. The ice cream was also very tasty.Wheelchair accessibility: Was fine.

Ice cream was nice but service was awful mostly every flavour was out of stock, and prices were ridiculous! (£8.50 for 3 ice creams)

Very disappointed as the menu looked lovely. We are visiting Dunoon for a week from Sutton Coldfield&have found most places lovely &dog friendly. It said online this cafe was bit we were told on arrival we could only sit outside!! As it was pouring with rain&all the tables&chairs outside were soaked with no cover we had no choice but to go elsewhere.Found another cafe where we were made to feel really welcome.

We stopped here to grab some ice cream but wish we had went elsewhere. The prices were ridiculous for 3 small ice-cream it was nearly £9, it was lovely equis ice cream but the service was awful. We waited almost 15 mins in a que, we were second in line, they were so slow, it took 15 mins just to serve the customer in front of us, all they asked for milkshakes and ice cream, there was no smile, no thank you, most ice creams were out of stock and they kept repeatly asking what we ordered. Doubt we will be back!

Popped in for a coffee as we had been staying in a nearby hotel. Coffee was lovely the best iv had in a while, got some red velvet & coffee cake to take away it was scrumptious freshly baked. Would highly recommend, staff friendly and polite.

Now I’ve been a few times to The Boat House and it’s a lovely coffee shop with friendly staff and nice food but I was horrified today by the prices hence this review. We went in and looked at the menu. Nearly £16 for two coffees and two simple rolls and sausage! I know things are expensive for everyone but come on! We left without ordering.

Looks really nice but frustratingly bad service. We ordered coffee and cake from the kiosk and sat on the tables outside. Cake and coffee was very average for the price. My daughter then went into the cafe (trying to be independent) to order food. She was ignored by the staff for some time until another customer pointed out she had been waiting patiently at the counter. When I checked her bank card transaction she had been charge more than double. The staff did pay the difference back to us in cash but we couldn't help but go away from what looked like a great wee cafe disappointed.

Cheery greting on entry, service was quick and polite and it was a good coffee served in pleasant surroundings and would recommend it to any one visiting Dunoon ,parking nearby is free and outside seating area as well to enjoy the views across the water.
