Human hairs in my takeaway - disgusting. I telephoned and was asked to return the dish in order to get a credit. I do not need £7 that badly that I waste my fuel and time to drive back. Hygiene - extremely poor. Customer care - Non existent. WILL NEVER EVER USE AGAIN

Re review. Mabey I got the stand in chef first time. Since then the food has been good. Good price will keep me coming back. Make sure it's not busy

I ordered crispy beef strip in Szechuan sauce, fried rice and prawn toast, and ended up with some unholy abomination of whatever the heck I got , I just can not figure out for the life of me how they managed to get the Szechuan sauce to be so devoid of flavour, but also mange to taste awful. The rice was just bad, it smelled burnt and was so unseasoned beyond belief, the prawn toast was only thing I could stomach to eat, saying that even that was so lacking in taste, I’m just glad I don’t live in duns so I don’t have to suffer this crime against humanity that is the food they serve in this establishment, I was going to give it my mums dog but I don’t won’t to be charged with animal cruelty.

Terrible Chinese Food now get delivery from Kwans in Kelso. Better more polite service and better delivery drivers.

I really can't understand where all of the negative reviews are coming from for this Chinese?I have eaten at this Chinese around three times and have always had lovely cooked Chinese meals. The only downside is the length of time it takes for your order to be made. With one hour not been unusual for a wait. I suppose the weight demonstrates that they are cooking things from fresh?Yes there is better Chinese but there is a lot worse too.Give it a go I'm sure you will agree that is perfectly acceptable.

Soggy prawn crackers, watery soup, no crab in the crabmeat and sweetcorn soup, which was a muddy colour. The salt, chilli ribs were soooo dry, with no onion, peppers, just gooey, flakes of garlic from a jar (not fresh). One of our main courses was missing (thank God) when we got home 15 miles away. EVERYTHING was very, very sweet including the hot and sour soup, which had really balsa woody, dry pork in it. Worst Chinese we have had for many, many years. We will not be back, ever! Food ended up in the bin, not fit for human consumption, or the dog. Don’t get stung, go elsewhere. Young lad taking the order wouldn’t even let me use the toilet in the restaurant. I had to go to the pub toilet next door. Slop!

Oh dear... ordered by phone and waited 2 hours for order to be completed. Previous orders have been incorrect so this time made sure he read it back to me and corrected his errors. Got home to find that the order was completely wrong. Several dishes missing and others just incorrect. Phoned to complain and request refund and asked to drive 5 miles back to return their dog food. To top it off overcharged at the till. Avoid this dump at all costs.

I've never written a negative review before because I used to work in the hospitality industry and I understand the pressures, plus even if it is bad I don't usually like to be rude. Therefore, I usually just give places the benefit of the doubt and don't make a fuss. However, this really needs to be said. So, we ordered:- Crispy shredded chilli beef- Lemon chicken- Aromatic duck- Spring rolls- Fried riceSo as I said before, being a chef I can tell you with 100% certainty that all of the food had been cooked hours before and left in a hot cupboard (uncovered) then given a quick reheat. The chicken had been overcooked and left for at least 4/5 hours giving it the consistency of very hard cardboard. The duck was the same, clearly cooked hours and hours before and poorly kept, again like eating shredded cardboard.I understand fully that places have to pre cook food especially when busy, but this was a very quiet Wednesday night and the only possible reason for how horrendous this was, is that the chef has been severely lazy. He/she has cooked everything when they arrived and left it all to dry out without even an attempt to revitalise it. It was so bad that it may have even been cooked the day before. Honestly the WORST food I have EVER eaten to the point I feel physically sick while writing this.As for the sauces, syrup. That's it. Just syrup. Not even the right flavours. As I said, I would never normally write a review, but this was just blatantly shocking. There is absolutely no way that chef can think that is acceptable!! I shouldn't even say chef actually because no chef made that food.

So sad that the only chinese takeaway in Duns just doesn't care about their food. About 50 minutes ago we collected our takeaway. Spring rolls were soggy (but tasty!!), aromatic duck arrived without spring onions & cucumber - duck was dry with a huge bone in it and rock hard, sauce was the same as my partners lemon chicken and the crispy shredded beef. Lemon chicken was rock solid also, like everything had been cooked and left under a hot lamp. Chilli beef basically chilli batter with a sweet sauce. Rice was black in colour. Such a shame as this would be our local, but can't honestly say i'd recommend or use again ?

We thoroughly enjoyed our takeaway. It was a large order and everything was hot and delicious and ready promptly. They have a large selection and everything we tried we would recommend.
