why do staff clearly not check the use by dates in the fridge stuff??. twice I've bought yogurts this month that have been days out of date if I lived closer I would be returning said item. the item went out of date on the 6th of March I bought today. check your dates on the food cause the staff clearly don't.

They insist that pram isn't trolley. And I need to go to basket tills. with full of products pram to basket till. there's no place to park pram there. I should take trolley and push both- pram and trolley in their opinion. sick and tired if that stupid things formalities. they should try do it themselves first, with crying all day child.

Unfortunately this afternoon I had one of the worst’s customer service experience in the 24H Asda EH6 store ,starting from one of the customer assistance Andrew ho wasn’t properly trained by his line store manager. Try to speak with a gentleman ho was uncharge for that shift on customer service desk ,unfortunately he started to raise the voice towards me when I finally made him realise where was the issue. His attitude was unprofessional not let me finish speaking and disrespectful towards not just me to the other employee as will not let him speak when I asked him in a nice manner “ how long you’ve been working here” the customer service desk employee reply by saying he’s the manager apparently and he is speaking for AndrewMore training especially when comes to customer service!!! P.s don’t want to generalise as is not the first time shopping there and I’ve meet amazing hardworking people

Got special offer Airfryer. Very good price. Also lot of fresh products and few frozen items. Very good choices in all departments.

It is good and you can find a lot of requirements, but its prices are a little expensive. I wish they would lower their prices a little to suit those with limited income. Thank you all

Huge premise and wide range of items. Good price too...

Poor stock control over the festive period. We found multiple items for sale that were already past their expiry date.

The world food section at the back of the store provides great value on some brilliant products. Fruit and veg tends to be quite limited though and prices on promotions don’t always work out in practice - keep your eyes peeled. Staff have done nothing to help me out other than remove the promotion stickers AFTER I’ve raised it, rather than honouring the price given.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and concern regarding an incident that occurred at the ASDA Leith Superstore on the evening of December 29, 2023. My complaint pertains to the unprofessional behavior exhibited by staff members, particularly Emma, during my use of the Scan and Go service. While undergoing a routine quality check, conducted by staff member Dionne, I encountered a distressing situation. Dionne, who was on a phone call at the time, performed the quality scan haphazardly, randomly scanning items without removing them from the bag. This resulted in the accidental double scanning of one item, prompting Dionne to request a complete rescan of my purchases at the checkout. I was disappointed to find myself in a similar situation for the second time due to staff errors during the quality check. In an attempt to explain the implications of scanning the same item twice, particularly how it could lead to a failure in the quality check, I was met with resistance from Dionne. Despite my efforts to clarify the situation and seek resolution, she denied any wrongdoing, offered no apology, and walked away, leaving me confused.Subsequently, Emma approached me in an agitated manner, instructing me to rescan everything. Despite my attempts to explain the situation calmly, Emma refused to listen, falsely accused me of shouting at her, and took the drastic step of involving security to escort me out of the store. This unexpected and unwarranted behavior left me shocked and deeply disturbed.Emma requested the security staff to throw me out of the store, and I explained with my concerns, however the response was also disheartening. The security staff suggested that if I was unhappy, I should refrain from visiting the store in the future. This recommendation was particularly disconcerting considering our longstanding residency in proximity to the store and a decade-long history of being loyal customers, as well as being ASDA Credit Card holder. My wife and I requested the opportunity to speak with the store manager regarding the perceived unfair treatment, but the response was that “the manager is busy and has no time”. This lack of accessibility and responsiveness added to our disappointment. It is crucial to note that upon rescanning all items, the total amount of £98.02 matched the amount on the Scan and Go device. Despite this, when attempting to demonstrate that no theft had occurred, Emma accused me of harassment and summoned security once again. While I understand that mistakes can happen, the unacceptable attitude displayed by the staff, coupled with the unfounded accusations, is intolerable. I strongly urge ASDA to invest in comprehensive training for its staff, emphasizing professionalism and diligence during Quality Scan procedures. It is essential that staff pay careful attention during quality checks, ensuring each scanned item is removed from the bag to prevent the rescanning of items multiple times.I believe that implementing these measures will significantly reduce inappropriate operations by staff and contribute to a more positive shopping experience for customers. I trust that ASDA takes this complaint seriously and initiates appropriate actions to address these concerns.Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I anticipate a prompt and satisfactory resolution.

Got accused of stealing 2 quid's worth of crisps after shopping here for well over 10 years!Guard clearly saw me paying for my items too. Don't appreciate being made a fool of over a couple bag of crisps!

The store in Newhaven obviously has a lot of thefts but why do they assume that everyone is out to steal!!! I used scan and go and was selected for a check. Needless to say I arrived at the correct total but because I scanned one of my £1 rolls of wrapping paper incorrectly everything had to be re-scanned and ny blood pressure was soaring!!! ASDA some of us are honest and where is human initiative these days....Merry Christmas!!!
