I would avoid the restaurant and go to nearby mall. I had both breakfast and dinner both were mediocre taste wise and not value for money.

Well I came with an open mind, to a grill looking forward to a steak… apart from a steak ciabatta there’s no steak on the menu. The rest of it pretty big standard. Staff were clueless and the menu expensive. Shame, I thought you’d get a steak at the Cast Iron Grill

Eat in the bar here as more atmosphere. Service is very good staff always very attentive. Food is good pub grub.

Very good quality in their dishes. Varied menu. Very fast service. All kinds of foods.

Excellent! We had a caesar salad, onion rings, sauté greens, veggie lover's foccia and they were VERY good! Veg was fresh, sauces tasted really good, and service was quality care with classic Scottish hospitality.

Food was overpriced for what it was, the menu was very limited the selection wasn’t great at all. Most definitely not the standard I’d expect from a restaurant within a marriot hotel I was expecting much more. Can’t fault the staff they were very attentive but we were the only two people in the restaurant to begin with ! The buffet/ self service food I don’t know how that was organised I can only assume it was some sort of package there was folk in and out helping themselves and it looked amazing and some good items on display When tables did come in to order from the menu we witnessed folk walk back out after five minutes looking at the menu !! Tbh if I wasn’t totally drained and shaking needing something to eat I’d have ordered elsewhere and had it delivered Like I said the hotel review is a lot more details bu let the pics speak for themselves over the “value” for. £63 bill

Small portions and high prices.Food standard is fair, no real complaints but it certainly does not reflect the mammoth bill you'll get at the end. Service standard I'd call 'functional'. The place was pretty quiet and we were sat away from the main restaurant at a big cold window on a cold night, then the family who came in after us were sat next to the fire exit at a far away corner of the restaurant. After paying we were followed out and asked if we had paid..... Definitely some hospitality training required. As it stands we won't be back. Do yourself a favour and go to the carvery down the road, you'll be far more satisfied.

Restaurant closes at 2100h. Then breakfast is prepared for the hotel guests. We had to eat in the lobby of the attached hotel. The table was still dirty and sticky from the last guests.Food barely edible. The fat just ran out of the food. Not recommended and overpriced

Food was good but how are you going to call yourself a grill without a steak? Why do you not have grill food. I also paid walked out and 2 people asked me if I wanted it charged to the room. I paid!!!! The manager asked me at the elevators.

The half roast chicken was bloody. I was advised that they will make a new one for me. They did not even offer a complimentary appetizer or bread especially that I informed the server I was famished. They also did not cook me a new one as advised. They just cooked further the original one. And, they had the gall to charge me the service charge which I questioned. When the original server learned that I was questioning something. He came huffing and puffing, rudely implying that I am trying to get a free meal. I should have just walked away when I saw the blood.

We both had steak. I couldn't eat mine, I was chewing for ever and couldn't swallow it. My wife said hers was OK. Wine was good
