Food was overpriced for what it was, the menu was very limited the selection wasn’t great at all. Most definitely not the standard I’d expect from a restaurant within a marriot hotel I was expecting much more. Can’t fault the staff they were very attentive but we were the only two people in the restaurant to begin with ! Small portions and high prices.Food standard is fair, no real complaints but it certainly does not reflect the mammoth bill you'll get at the end. Service standard I'd call 'functional'. The place was pretty quiet and we were sat away from the main restaurant at a big cold window on a cold night, then the family who came in after us were sat next to the fire exit at a far away corner of the restaurant. Excellent! We had a caesar salad, onion rings, sauté greens, veggie lover's foccia and they were VERY good! Veg was fresh, sauces tasted really good, and service was quality care with classic Scottish hospitality.
