Easily the best place for enjoying a delicious piece of red meat in Edinburgh. Every single time without fail it was a great experience. There is just something very special about the place. The cocktails are pretty and yummy, sides are always right, and the desserts are just right to round up the whole thing. The take away kit was also a great fun to cook at home. We had a memorable New Year's meal. Applause, guys! You did it :)
First time visit. The starter Tampura prawn and its sauce were great. The steak I ordered was sirloin (300g). It looked nice but taste wise a bit disappointing. The sides were good. Wine was good too. The atmosphere in this wee restaurant is impressive as well. My rating is actually 3.5 star due to lack of service standards for a premium-ish steakhouse! Service could be a lot better. Will give another try though.

Came for a birthday dinner after hearing really good things about the food. We were not disappointed. The food was fantastic, atmosphere was great and the service was friendly, discreet and efficient. Every steak was cooked and rested perfectly. Will definitely be back.
