Good coffee with proper ambience for study or chilling with friends. They also came up with cup size (small, medium, large) which is pretty great!

Never had a bad cup of coffee here. Food is also good and staff alway pleasant. Better atmosphere than the nearby chain shops.

Best oat latte I had had in a while. Lovely space has a ton of 2-person tables. Pastries available.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere for a quick lunch - oat cappuccino, brie and cranberry panini melt and an Toffee apple and pecan slice! Amazing Tarya single handedly managing the cafe. She must be the CoffeeAngel ? !

Our simple lunch order of 2 soups took more than 30 mins to arrive. When it did it was stone cold. When I complained I was met with a very defensive and argumentative manager who blamed the problem on it being busy. Firstly it wasn't busy at all, secondly it was lunchtime. She then went on to use the excuse of it being a charity for the bad service!!!! I basically had to ask for an apology which was given in extremely bad grace.

Fantastic service and a great coffee. Very relaxed mid day at Festival time, can't buy that in the city centre normally. Enjoyed the vibe, liked the decor, loved the Danish pastries and Lemon Drizzle cake.Plenty of tables for two and a few booths and settees much less crowded than other similar places. I tried their cappuccino, found it superior to most I try. Baby change and toilets were clean, so all in all a great pit stop.
Friendly staff, beautiful coffee, and lovely cakes.Kid-friendliness: Lots of treats to choose from.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is on the ground level.

Popped in here on a day trip to Edinburgh. The menu has an extremely good selection all at very reasonable prices. We chose the Mushroom Toast (sautéed mushrooms in a tarragon cream sauce with balsamic glaze and salad) along with French Toast & Bacon (brioche French toast with bacon, tomato & maple syrup). Both very tasty and potion sizes were good. The coffee is nice and the service delivered with a smile. Lovely clean restaurant in a good central location. Recommend a visit if you fancy something different and remember, you can "Pay It Forward' which is a nice thing to do.
