This pub is also part of Auld Hoose on St Leonards Street, I know both are dog friendly, both great local pubs. Food is really good for price. Staff are always helpful and friendly. The Greenmantle have outdoor seating in good weather, gets sun all afternoon too.Will review Auld Hoose as going for food in next week or so, I feel it deserves more reviews as its perfect after a walk up Arthur's Seat with dogs or not, great place to rest your legs afterwards.
Lovely little bar, could do with getting someone to get all their socials & google maps updated, google says open currently only to be met with a confused barmaid when we turned up ?

Super kind servers, absolutely amazing servers. Came in and asked for a hot toddy which wasn't on the menu but was told they could absolutely make it for me. The one issue? They didn't have honey, but they were happy to substitute for simple syrup which, while untraditional, was still delicious. The atmosphere was lovely and welcoming. Truly a warm little pocket of comfort perfect for a tipple while exploring Edinburgh.
