The food is incredible! Just like you’ve been in a restaurant in Puglia or South Italy. The portions are big and most importantly the food is good quality and tasty.

A very cozy setting with very delicious food. The food speaks for it itself. And i am mighty impressed by the amount of food the dinner mains have on them. I've had the lunch wraps as well, and liked them too.Clearly, from their food and service, they know what they are doing and they are very good at it.Had their Amaretto Sour, perfectly balanced. Had their Chocolate Orange cake - might be the best cake I've had this year. Highly recommended, please go in, sit down and enjoy a meal. I'll definitely be back.Vegetarian options: Although less, they are available and does not compromise on taste at all.

Fantastic cosy authentic Italian /calabrese run restaurant. Great food @ reasonable prices. Family run and feels like you are in their home. Welcoming, accommodating needs and chatty staff.A must go for a true Italian

Just came here to say that I read about this lovely restaurant somewhere and immediately made a reservation. I arrived on the wrong day and yet they kindly made room for me and my family. My husband is a pub guy. He wanted to complain that we were not at a pub so badly but could not because the service and the food was impeccable. I had the very best espresso martini I have ever had. They do not have a children's menu but they will make accommodations with a smaller portion of a regular meal. I would definitely make this a regular stop for any visits to Edinburgh. It wouldn't be far from the Royal Yacht if you were checking that out. Can't say enough good things about our visit here.

Fabulous little place amongst many possible options in Leith. Very glad we gave this a try. Atmosphere is cosy, staff friendly and the menu really diverse. Top choice was the local mussels. Nice selection of wines too.

Great gem in Leith. Menu is small but perfectly formed, server was very knowledgeable about the food and could give great detail about the food. I was part of a table of 8 and nothing was a problem, food came out hot and was a joy to eat. Thank you for fitting us in at short notice and taking care of us like we where your own.

8 of us on a work event ate here by chance. The food and the service was superb. I didn't get the gentleman who served us name but he was very professional knew the menu and explained the dishes. The food was excellent very fresh and tasty would highly recommended

Have always been a fan of Domenico's but hadn't been for a while. Was really impressed - the place is looking good and the menu seems to have been slimmed down a bit. The dishes on the main menu were well chosen and the specials board was great - I had the fish stew off the board and it was really, really good. The staff, as ever, were efficient, funny and friendly and, overall, we had a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended.

Our second visit, and this time for a special birthday meal. It didn’t disappoint. The seafood here is really something special: beautifully prepared, top quality ingredients, and generous portions. A lovely Italian white wine, very reasonably priced. A really cheerful place, bags of character, tucked out of the way from the main drag. But best to book—it was packed even on a Tuesday evening.
