As locals we’ve been here a couple of times; it’s a lovely cosy Italian restaurant of a type you rarely find in the UK anymore. Just great quality food, unpretentiously presented, and excellent value for money.But been moved to write the review after they went the extra mile to fit us in near closing time when another venue let us down.Despite the late hour, the kitchen produced two delicious steaks and the service remained friendly and efficient.We will definitely be back.
Domenico's is a small family run Italian restaurant serving a great selection of truly tasty food. Having dined there on a number of occasions, I've never been disappointed.If you're peckish at lunchtime, then there's always their amazing sandwiches with such a variety of fillings - don't forget there's often a queue for them, so perhaps factor in a little waiting time. We haven't had such amazing Italian food for a while! Everything is definitely worth it, we've ordered a starter of the day (nduja, avocado & prawns bruscetta), main of the day - halibut with potatoes in creamy leek and artichoke sauce and venison ragu. Everything exceeded our expectations. Flavorsome, big portions. Super nice staff and overall atmosphere make this place an absolute gem!
