I’ve lived in Edinburgh for 3 years and thought I’d found my perfect fish shop down by the water in Leith, until, I came across Eddie’s Seafood Market……I went there two weeks ago to buy some squid. I arrived close to closing time on a Saturday and it was obvious the guys who work there were closing down for the weekend. Frequently go to Eddie for seafood. Excellent service and quality of seafood.Today, they recommended me for a stone bass.Got the head and body for 1KG.Steamed the stone bass and it’s excellent. Great taste.I cooked the fish head with kimchi, leek and tofu. Perfect dish for my friends.Thanks so much for the great recommendations!!

Such fresh fish, every single time! The staff are all incredibly friendly and answer any questions I have with preparing the fish and ideas for dishes. I also discovered their recent selection of sashimi fish - so tasty!
