If you love chips then you can't pass this place up! I always get a large bag and they do mean LARGE. You have endless choices for toppings or loaded fries, but in honesty, I just like to taste the chips so I usually just get them with salt and they are the best tasting chips I've ever had.

At first,I was having a stroll in Edinburgh when I took a glance and noticed a flyer displaying some delicious fries covered in rich sauces. Therefore I decided to have a look at what Frites offered. I got attracted to go inside by the luscious dirty fries and decided to place my order. I noticed that inside of the store was pristine and well looked after ,showcasing a lovely design inside to really advertise the goodness of Frites. The staff was friendly and offered a quick service and I can tell that the customers were very delighted. I rate this place a 10/10 !

Deliciously fried and thick fries. There are a variety of liquid options, seasonings and extras toppings to customize your potatoes. I recommend sweet chilli and sweet mango curry.

I tried the peri peri loaded fries along with kitkat shake.JUST TRAGIC.. I avoid negative reviews, but that money waste hurt.The fries with the chicken look good but just taste bland, and with that taste you pretty much just stop eating halfway . Coming to the kitkat shake, it just felt like a glass of milk and a stick of kitkat was thrown together, not as sweet as u would expect a kitkat shake. Was my 1st experience, and I would not recommend these 2 items' waste of 9 ish quid.

Amazing fries with a really lovely vegan mayo option! Customer Service is kinda lacking (not the most engaging/friendly)but I kind of understand if you are standing frying all day.

Extremely poor unprofessional service , asked nicely for a bag for My two cones Of chips and staff member was extremely rude and told me next time ask at the point of ordering in an aggressive manner!Sent an email to give feedback to owner did not bother to reply.There will Not be a next time lost a regular customer and note the onus should be on the server to ask if the Customer would like a bag.

As a person who is a self-confessed potatoholic I can verify that Belgian Frites has become my new go to for my favourite Canadian comfort food: Poutine (chips, cheese and gravy). I come here at least once a week and I've now started tor recognise the people who work there, it's bad. The partial key to their success is the double fried chips, makes them perfectly crispy. Also a very affordable price and prompt service although I've only ever been outsdie of peak times. Both a blessing and curse that it is in walkable distance from my house.

I placed an order and the rider was on my location as per GPS on the app. However, when I checked by the window I saw the rider was sitting in his car eating my fries! I can't believe it. I tried to contact Frites in Leith Walk and they don't have any telephone number. Deliveroo refund me the order but that was all! Such an horrible service! They should start using another delivery service and add a contact number for these cases!
