Flawless for this restaurant! The brunch is hearty and delicious. Special mention to the hot chocolate which is to die for.The atmosphere and decoration are warm as well as the service.I recommend without hesitation, but remember to book in advance because the place is very popular!

I went last week for breakfast and I must say that the food is very delicious, and the quantities are large, plus the service is very good, the only thing I would ask them to improve is that they stack the tables, when I went it was almost empty and They were piling us up in a corner, we couldn't fit, there is no space to put our jackets and a backpack, and there is no space between the tables.

Brilliant place for breakfast/brunch. Good coffee and delicious food. Can get very busy though, so bear that in mind.

Really enjoyed brunch here. The food was delicious as was the pot of tea. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very busy but we were given a lovely window seat. I was very glad to get that table as the restaurant is a bit dark. But highly recommend and will be backDietary restrictions: They have gluten free bread

Been a few times, food is always lovely and atmosphere / decor is very warm and pleasant. However, I feel the whole experience is badly let down by cold drinks pricing - £3.50 (+12.5% service charge) for a 200ml Diet Coke & nearly £5 (+SC) for a lemonade? Wild even for Edinburgh.

Nestled away between two of Edinburgh new town’s most populous streets, Greenwoods was a quaint and upbeat affair. The food was clean, unique, but not without the brunch classics. The service and beverage menu are the stand outs; try the homemade ginger beer its phenomenal.Atmosphere is compact, it’s a tight space with between 10-15 seating areas within one small room. Waiters dance between chairs. Some people love a cosy atmosphere. I personally don’t like the confined nature of the layout, but I won’t hold that against Greenwoods with my rating, which is a 5 star.A great brunch spot, and one I will be returning to.

We had breakfast at this place. What an incredible discovery! The waitresses made us feel very welcome and were very pleasant! I chose a Scottish breakfast and it was absolutely delicious! Everything was perfect. I also recommend the lavender hot chocolate.
