Excellent food delivered in a lovely yet relaxed setting by friendly staff. The set menu in particular is outstanding value. A real Edinburgh institution which keeps pace with the times.
We visited just before Hogmanay 2023 for a change from home cooking when my daughter and her partner were visiting.An absolute delight to eat here, excellent locally sourced ingredients which are as always, beautifully cooked and presented. Lovely quiet atmosphere intimate without being stuffy and very very efficient and professional staff who are knowledgeable and can advise on choosing and wines etc.It is actually a refreshing change to be able to enjoy all the sensory pleasures...read full review

We loved dining here! The setting is beautiful, the staff were lovely and the food was excellent. We had the set menu and it did not disappoint, perfectly sized portions. Would definitely return.
