Absolutely FANTASTIC and exceptionally busy Saturday night so there was a wait for food but the brilliant front of house team brought complimentary olives. The food..... OMFG... OUTSTANDING, we had the prawn starter and meatballs, beautiful Just when you think you hit the highlights the main courses of pasta with venison, pasta with sausage & pasta with prawns come along - phenomenal!! This is a great hidden gem and worthy of 5 stars plus, before you all get excited it is a small restaurant with very little space. Rustic but authentic, we WILL return as the food is phenomenal

The food was amazing, super fast and friendly service. I had lasagne and the Mrs had Pappardelle Bolognese and we had a side of garlic bread. Tiramisu for dessert and we had cocktails, coffee and a digestive too. Would definitely visit here again when we are in Edinburgh next!

I was here on Jul,2023. It’s near from my hotel. The food was fantastic in terms of flavor, menu and very big serving size. I ordered the pasta, soup as per the owner reccomend. If you wanna try the original Italian food you should go to this place.

Food was delicious, restaurant was ideally located and had a cosy interior. However service was a bit slow (despite not being very busy inside) and staff appeared preoccupied. We ordered a starter to share, a pasta course, meat course and desert. As I felt I couldn’t manage both main courses, I ordered a starter to come out at the same time as my partners meat course. Staff were very accommodating and this ran smoothly. The olives took a while to arrive (right before pasta course so seemed they had forgotten). We also ordered tap water, which never arrived and we had to ask again.
