Awfully rude entitled waitress gave us a horrible experience one minute walking into the restaurant and we left because of that. I suggest she works in the kitchen if she’s not capable of treating customers with half decent respect. I’m sure others have had a bad experience with her as well. Please take appropriate action and thank you.

I had dinner, dough balls in blankets, festival pizza, and drink, on New Year’s Eve. Food in high quality as always, and Georgie, who served at my table, is very kind, friendly, and helpful. Enjoyable stay!

This is a very good pizza express with lovely waiters who are happy to help when ever you need it. The food is also very good and I would recommend the doughballs with garlic butter.....Yum! It was very speedy from when we sat down to the last course.Overall, this is a very good restaurant and I would definitely recommend it.

Had a wonderful lunch at Pizza Express today! From the off, a member of staff (apologies I didn’t catch his name) went above and beyond with my husbands food allergies. He kindly checked individual ingredients to make a specialised pasta dish. Fantastic! Our server, Euan, was also on point with everything. Friendly, welcoming and informative. We even got birthday snow dough balls for our daughter which was a lovely touch. I had the BBQ burnt ends romana pizza and it was delicious. Thin and crispy base, sweet BBQ sauce and burt ends…YUM! Thank you. Euan and team. 10/10 x

Came here for dinner on the 11th Nov. Food was alright but the waitress who greeted us were unbelievably rude! As I suffer from temporary hearing loss in one ear, we asked whether it’s possible to get a quieter seat (as loud chatter is disconcerting with only one functioning ear). The waitress (circled) said (I quote her exact words) ‘No, we are a very busy restaurant’ and walked off to show us our seats instead of apologising to say we are full (the restaurant is not completely full). When taking our orders (due to hearing issues I can’t hear her question on whether we wanted a classical or romana base), she said ‘that wasn’t the question I’m asking you sir’. Where I came from, she would have got the sacked!! Awful front desk waitress…

Sat in for a lovely dinner and was served by the delightful Steven. The food was delicious and Steven was so helpful and as a gluten free customer he made me feel comfortable and talked me through all the best options for me. Will definitely come back. Thank you to Steven and all the staff here.
Visited pizza express yesterday, and had the most wonderful, friendly and attentive server. I believe their name was Kathy, but I may have misheard them (they had piercings and very cool green hair) and they were possibly the best server I’ve ever had! Thank you so much for the great service and lovely evening ☺️

Excellent choice for pizza! Great good, friendly service from Christian! Highly recommend. Hard to see the restaurant due to the construction going on around the area. Hidden by much of the equipment and scaffolding.

We ate here as it was close to Edinburgh Castle and we were attending the Tattoo. We had booked a table the previous evening. The restaurant was very busy but the service was excellent and we were served fairly quickly. The staff were extremely good and worked very hard.

My partner and I had a very pleasant meal served by Euan. The food was excellent and the atmosphere wasn’t too noisy to have a conversation. Euan’s service was the perfect blend of catering to all our needs while not making us meal hassled or hurried. Would definitely return and recommend to friends.

Neglectful service. The young cooks lost our order ticket and as we sat there waiting, our waitress and the management walked by time and again without checking in on us. At least 10 people’s orders were taken and then even served food before I eventually had to walk up to our server and explain that we’ve been waiting for over 40 minutes for our food. We ended up walking out, hungry. Management needs to be more attentive and observant of their customers if they want this location to succeed.
