Early for an eye appointment I went to pizza express at kinnaird Park for a beer and a coffee, I ended up devouring a starter, calzone pizza and a coffee to finish, the staff were amazing, I was attended to by a very nice and welcoming guy called Michael, although there were others also. The what could only be assumed as the floor manager was just as good.Food and beverages went down a treat and the fact the staff were all so attentive, courteous and welcoming made it more than worthwhile. Manager needs a personality transplant. Never uses manners or smiles. Delivery staff stand and wait ages to even be acknowledged. Don’t order food from here. Nice they have your money, your food isn’t a priority.

I ordered for collection, once i got there my food was already to collect even though i was 10 mins early. Food was cold. For £15 this pizza was shocking. It was a very small cold pizza. The amount of garlic butter i received was also shocking. I do not recommend getting a take out from this place!! Very

Great fast friendly service from staff here.Family of 5 all pizzas cooked and served in reasonable time. Gave me a seafood pizza that I didn't order mistake. Arrived just after 5 to a maybe quarter full restaurant, seated fairly quickly and drinks orders taken promptly, the decent service ended there unfortunately, waited about 10 minutes for the starter which isn't overly bad but we then waited for a further 40 minutes, while watching another table give up and leave I said to my son, they have 2 more minutes before we're leaving and going to McDonald's! after which we were told you're food is the oven, another 15 minutes passed before the pizza was actually served - I am dining with my 5 year old child, along with most tables in there, trying to feed hungry kids and get them home in time for bed etc and this wait time is unacceptable, to make matters worse the diners were watching takeaway orders being punted out the kitchen in droves, giving the impression that this was the priority and not the diners within the actual restaurant, this was raised with staff at the time. Now you can forgive some lateness if it's a knockout meal, sadly in this case the pizza was just the cherry on top of a very unpleasant dining experience, ordered the leggera which is cited as being a salad filled hole pizza, throwing a bunch of rocket leaves in does not really equate to a salad. Awful.

I went to Pizza express with my family and sat into one of the available tables rightaway because there were no stuff on the door and no signs which says wait. There were also lots of available spaces. A guy came to give the menus who I assumed was the manager. He behaved pretty rude and he tactlessly said “you should wait on the door for the next time”. Me and my family didn’t deserve that sort of a behaviour and we got out of the restaurant. I don’t think nobody ever does. I absolutely don’t recommend.

Although the food was fine, the service wasn’t great and when some of our large party did not want to pay the ‘optional’ service, we were told that we needed to tell the waitress that before payment. Then the waitress was rude and told us poor service was our own fault as we hadn’t booked in advance on a Saturday.Worst pizza express service I’ve ever experienced and would not recommend to anyone or go there again.

Service was quick and pleasant, food was hot, parking was very convenient almost in front and the dessert menu more expensive and imaginative than I remembered
My wife and I shared the chicken goujon dish( which comes with pesto for dipping and 3 goujons )The calabrese pizza ( rectangular one ) good size for sharing which was absolutely delicious, and the Polenta fries which came with a decent but kind of basic vinaigrette type dipping sauce. Couldn’t really fault any of these dishes in fact thoroughly enjoyed them.For dessert the wife had chocolate brownie and I had tiramisu both were lovely and decent sized portions. The bill came to £56 not bad at all. Would definitely come again and hopefully not too long away.

Turned up at pizza express at 7.55pm, 3 of us looking for a table. My sister made a comment as we walked in that she had taken my son's there a few months ago and she was turned away as they hadn't booked a table, no offer for them to come back or alternative. She mentioned this just before going in, once we were in we were waiting for a few minutes in a cold and dark environment to be told that they "weren't taking walk in customers as the kitchen is backed up", they weren't that busy but I thought they were closing soon, so we went to nandos instead. Nandos seated us in a warm and friendly manner and we ate a lovely meal there. On the way back an hour later as we left nandos, we walked past pizza express and it was still open. Given how the last 3 years have been for restaurants, I would have thought these guys would do a better job for their customers. Avoid this place at all costs and go to nandos instead.

My Mum took me here as a special treat. This was completely spoilt as after my mum paid they claimed payment had not been made due to the machine losing battery, they said a decline receipt was not available. My mum clearly upset showed them on her phone the payment had been made. However the manager on shift kept talking over her in an almost aggressive manner, and kept insisting that this was not the case and the payment would be pending and cancelled. They forcefully insisted she pay again, despite her feeling very uncomfortable believing payment had already been made. In response to her concern that she thought she had paid and would be charged twice and simply couldn't afford this, the manager insisted the system wouldn't allow this and it would be impossible for this to happen. He was completely wrong it has! She is now having difficulty contacting the restaurant to get this money refunded and is therefore out of pocket, money she can not afford. The special treat she hoped to give us completely ruined. This kind of customer service is unacceptable!
