“This is a great place for breakfast. A fine example of a no-nonsense, working person’s cafe. A hearty breakfast, great coffee, warm and welcoming and efficient and friendly service. Highly recommended.”
“We've tried Poached eggs with salmon and it was delicious! Flat white and herbal tea also was amazing. The owner is super nice and we've got our food very fast. Definitely recommend this place!”
“Very tasty falafel sandwiches/wraps. They also make chicken sandwiches. Plenty of vegetarian options and very reasonable prices”
“Great sandwiches to take on plane/train, way better than airport food! Good value for large portion. Got the vegan option, only a little bit of avocado but lots of hummus and falafel. Made the Ryanair plane delay more bearable. Have been a couple of times and always good. Nice staff too.”
“A place where you can eat the real Scottish breakfast, available also in vegan version.”
“I stopped in for a quick lunch and got the Serkan's special wrap to go. It had a lot of flavor and was a decent size for the price. It was a bit rich for my taste, but I still enjoyed it. It's a pretty small spot and seems mostly used for carry-out, although there are a few seats available inside. Friendly staff and a cute place.”
“I got the asparagus and eggs and was very pleased with the generous portions and hearty, thick cut brown toast. Lovely spot with a pleasant atmosphere.”
“I liked it, plenty of space and the staff were friendly and helpful with a good range of products to wet your neck at what increasingly seems to be good prices for central Edinburgh, open late too.”
