We were only in Edinburgh for four days and visited twice for Luca's exceptional ice cream. The fact that the weather was very autumnal didn't deter. We wouldn't choose a nut sundae again if only because the very generous serving of chocolate sauce masked the delious ice cream a little.

Our daughter suffers from severe allergies. We've learned that how a team deals with allergies is a great indicator of the overall quality of the venue. Lara's service at Luca's couldn't have been better.When we informed her of the allergies she reacted calmly and kindly. She showed us the fullista of ingredients for everything. We took away a milkshake (dark choc and coconut) £3.75 and a lemon sorbet cone. Milkshake was good but still had a scoop of ice cream at the bottom so hadn’t been mixed properly, I just let it sit in the sun some more and it was fine though. The lemon sorbet was lovely too. If it’s nice take your stuff to go and walk over the brunstfield links if you can make it last that long!
