Great place to eat and drink, with friendly, attentive staff. Serves everything from margaritas to a pot of tea, and it’s dog friendly too, so it’s perfect after taking your dog for a walk on the beach. Treat your pup to a chicken liver treat - they’ll love you for it!

I had the burger with brie. It was ok but not worth £14+ It was quite tough to cut in half & it came with a few chips & very small salad on a small plate. My friend had the house bread with balsamic vinegar & olive oil, which she enjoyed. The waiter was hanging around a lot, which was quite intimating, staring art our table. Gave me the impression that he thought we wouldn't pay. Service was quick but probably won't be back. Dogs are welcome.

Popped in with family, excellent service, cheerful attentive staff. Highly recommended.

Food was good but not as good as it used to be. We got nachos and there was enough sauce for maybe half the chips.

I don't know anywhere else where can you sit so close to sand and sea in the UK. One of life's best pleasures is a great coffee and an even better view, with a sprinkle of people clattering by for good measure. This place made my Sunday utter bliss.

Nice food, dog friendly.

Had a lovely lunch here. My burger was just a bit under done for my taste. No problem at all, it was whisked away and a fresh one returned along with a complimentary coffee. The staff were pleasant and service good. There have been comments about too many dogs but ours sits quietly under our table and does bother anyone. Great to be able to take her in with us. Overall, very good and we will return at some point.

Ideal for tourists because of the location. Good beer selection and service. However, the food is very mediocre for the cost due to cheap ingredients (used to be better). If you walk up to the high street, you have access to much better food for the same price, eg Foresters Guild.

Just had drinks, really friendly service! 10 out of 10…

This is a place which has been going downhill for years. It needs to decide if it is a bar or a restaurant. Service was very obtrusive. We were here for a drink only but even that was unsatisfactory as they ran out of first one and then another type of ale, this early on a Saturday night! It was also poorly heated on what was a cold night. I will not be returning.

Nice atmosphere here and the food was hot.Service was all over the place. Ordered the vegan burger after confirming with the waiter it was a fake-meat style burger but turned out it was potato based. It tasted poor and fell apart, the waiter was not apologetic.Nachos were the best dish, a nice big portion to share.

The staff were nice. The menu had a large choice of standard dishes, with the addition of some Scots specialities (cullen skink, a burger garnished with a slice of haggis) and a range of smoothies. I was shocked by the number of dogs in the place - more dogs than children - and they were not just lying quietly under the tables. Dog walkers came in with four or five dogs on leads. And one of the waitresses "served" water bowls - and then human meals without washing her hands. Not the place for me, anyway.

Great service and best bacon roll (on brioche bun) I've had in a long time.
