Food was lovely. Unfortunately we ordered cakes for afters but waited for ages had to go to counter to be told they had forgot although it had been written down. The place was busy so that's a good reason we were forgotten. Staff very apologetic. Would go back.Kid-friendliness: High chairs ready and waiting.
Butternut Squash is lovely café based in the side street in heart of the Portobello area of Edinburgh. The café offers a range of freshly cooked food, snacks and blackboard specials. The staff on duty today Saturday lunch were attentive and kind. Loved the dark French onion soup and the halloumi chips and peri peri mayonnaise. Good coffee too.
