I do love a Nicholson bar, this place does not let you down. Friendly bar staff with an atmosphere to match and an ice cold clean crisp pint recommend by the barman.

We had a great time in this pub. The buttermilk chicken burger and the haggis were both really really good! A good variety of different ciders. The lovely waitress did a great job and was very kind and funny. When there’s a chance, we will definitely come back to this place!

Very nice pub in the city centre with excellent service and tasty food. The servers were very attentive and I could see them trying hard to accommodate everyone.I thought the start would have been slightly bigger and the pie’s crust was slightly too hard for my liking but not a disaster by any means and it was busy.Would come back to try something else.

Fantastic venue. Perfect for those who want to try typical cuisine and be on the safe side. We went on a Friday evening and there were a lot of people. Even on the cocktail bar side we were satisfied with good drinks and correct preparation.
