Delightful and intimate Italian restaurant. Service was prompt and staff helpful and pleasant. Decided to have the afternoon tea option and it was scrumptious. Would recommend.

40 minutes from entry till being served.( I had already entered with a bad taste when Veeno had not honoured a previous voucher due to a Covid time lapse). I was not disappointed. We will not be back.

The service and the restaurant’s own wine were amazing, the grande board with the wine was divine, I especially liked the cheese selection on it, and I love the fig jam too! The mortadella is my eternal favorite, it reminded me of a pleasant Italian vacation memory. ?

Visited here a couple of times, once for the Italian afternoon tea and another for wine tasting. Both times it was excellent and I’m glad my friend recommended it to me as it’s not somewhere I feel is well known or one of the obviously popular choices in Edinburgh. Will certainly visit again!

Service was quick to start with and then mains did not arrive for ages. The food was bland with no flavour. One of our party could not eat the pasta. The bill was extremely high and ridiculously high for such poor quality food. The people were welcoming and pleasant but I would not go there again.

I enjoyed the food. It was well made and comforting. Service was really good and we enjoyed his wine suggestion. They also do wine tasting and food and wine pairings but you have to book beforehand. If I knew, I would do that for sure. I would definitely visit again.
