“A lovely little tea ship that has an old fashioned feel. Real china cups and lovely setting.
Simple but lovely good for with great scones and bakes. A little tight if you have a push chair or wheel chair but the staff are really helpful.”

“What a treat at lunchtime!
My wife and I have just experienced one of the best 'lunch dates' ever.
We have been married over 40 years and have in that time had many meals out.
However, today's was exceptional and the staff in The Granary can be rightly proud of the service they provide.
As soon as we walked in the door, we had a warm welcome from Lisa who showed us to the very comfy seating.
My wife had Hunters Chicken and I had the Bellhaven Steak Pie. Neither of us could fault either the food or the service. Initially, I was doubtful as to whether or not I could finish what was a very generous helping. However, not a morsel was left! The pie was very well filled with the most tender and lean pieces of steak and the flaky pastry on the pie was delicious. My wife's chicken was equally well enjoyed and we shared a bowl of onion rings as a side dish.
The chef's name was Keith and our lovely waitress was Lisa.
We will be back!”
