48a High St, ElginThe Drouthy Cobbler is a lovely, warm and friendly place that I would highly recommend. Tucked away on a narrow side street it has instant appeal with welcoming lights and plants decorating the doorway. Once inside we were served by an amazing young team who were helpful, knowledgeable and engaging. The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced for such good quality. We enjoyed our meal with some lovely wine and followed it with cocktails which were just as good as the food. This is an absolute gem which we will definitely visit again. If you're in Elgin, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

29 South St, ElginThe customer service is really good, and the food full of flavour as expected from Turkish cuisine.More than half the menu is gluten free, although weirdly their rice contains wheat and they don't offer some plain rice as an alternative.If only they had the Effes Glutensiz beer too.Second visit and I will probably return next time I'm working in Elgin.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options, but not the rice.

I Normally have the soup and sandwich combo, but unfortunately there wasnt any vegetarian/ vegan soup available, only for meat eaters, so i was a bit disappointed on this visit. ? maybe chef could make 2 soups available for vegetarians/vegans and the omnivores daily. Just an idea, after all its "The Planta cafe" Grest for gluten free and other dietary requirements.

14-18 Thunderton Pl, ElginStopped off spur of the moment at the weekend, and was pleased to get a table.Unfortunately the Sunday roast was sold out (we will come earlier next time) but the menu had plenty to choose from, and good deals throughout the week.We ordered burgers, and they were delicious, and filling.The staff were friendly and helpful, and the tables were clean.Everywhere had nice decor and a bonus in the ladies loos were Scottish fine soap seakelp! Love the stuff.We will definitely be returning, thanks

However, to extend the 'festival of love' out until the weekend we booked a table for 2 at this establishment.I can tell you right now that this is the best Thai restaurant in Elgin. I had one of the finest Thai Green Currys ever and my wife? Well, she also ate something and she assured me that it was also very good.Going on hot dates that offer value for money is hard these days, but this came in budget and I was very happy with the final bill.The staff were helpful and delivered the correct food that we had ordered. What more could I ask for.

9A Moss St, ElginGood family restaurant with nice atmosphere, Food was ok but only 4 start, the starters were great but the curry dishes need a little more spice. The Pasanda and Masala were far too sweet. The Biryani was amazing but the Chilli Garlic whilst was nice it was not hot enough needed much more chilli and garlic. The mushroom rice and keema naan was to die for. Overall 4 stars and recommended, we will be going back but will be ordering hotter dishes next time.

The car park is an odd shape but plenty of spots provided there aren't any events ongoing in the area as it can be a popular "out of the way" location to park.

The food was OK, I'm not a lover of Burger King or Macdonalds but it keeps the daughter happy. She finished her meal along with an ice cream. I'd be happy to return.

Newmill, ElginReally enjoyed our meal of gammon and all the trimmings. We were £20 per person for meal, soft drink & a coffee . Coffees are lovely smooth tasting. The staff were attentive and friendly. Our only negative point was really about the other rude entitled customers who queue jumped when we were waiting both to wait for a table and then again when we went to pay . The system was a bit awkward as the paying point and checking in pount are next to one another and caused confusion both times - can this point be merged into one queue?

We arrived 30 mins earlier than our booked time but that wasn't an issue, we were shown to our table and told just order at the bar when ready. Definitely go here again!

11 Moss St, ElginDecided to try the Ashvale for the first time. We were super chuffed we did! Best fish and chips we have had in ages. We both opted for the jumbo haddock suppers, the fish was massive!! And our child (aged 2) got to eat for free!!! So so happy with that. He had chicken nuggets and was perfectly happy too, it was proper chicken too and not the usual nugget mulch out the freezer. The staff were fabulous. Our toddler is like many toddlers and wouldn’t sit still, but the staff chatted to him and kept him entertained and looked after. His meal out first and his pudding out first. Couldn’t ask for more, loved it! We will be back ?

All of the staff without exception went out of their way to ensure we had a great dining experience.You can see by the buz and bohemian feel to the cafe it's well liked by the locals, it was great to see they were on first name terms with almost all of their customers, keep up the good work we will be back

It was fresh and plenty of different choices of sandwiches/wraps/homebakes/fruits/crisps. The price/quality is superb and such a friendly staff and cooperative and really thinking out of the box and making sure everything for our lunch was taken care off and making sure to cater for any dietary preferences (gluten free/vegan/vegetarian). They delivered to the venue in Elgin without any issues and really go out of their way. All the participants loved the fresh and very wide selection of items and we are already looking at booking the Little Lunchbox for our next event. We can definitely recommend this caterer. A big thank you to Kathleen and her team.Vegetarian options: We had plenty of choices included for people who wished to have a vegetarian option.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love the options offered.
