“A lovely little tea ship that has an old fashioned feel. Real china cups and lovely setting.
Simple but lovely good for with great scones and bakes. A little tight if you have a push chair or wheel chair but the staff are really helpful.”

“I have just had a very lovely lunch with my mother here who is over from Australia. We always come back as the food is very tasty, service is always with a smile and the coffee is made hot. What I mean by that is that it is not reasonably hot to start but then luke warm within minutes. It actually stays hot so you can enjoy it for longer and tastes great as well.
Thank you to Sophia, who served us, who was very pleasant and polite and made our visit very welcoming. All the staff are very welcoming and a pleasure to talk to.

“We had a wonderful tour around the factory with Morah, who was so good you simply could not tell she had possibly given this tour hundreds of times. She was really knowledgeable, friendly and an all round great guide. The tearoom was very nice. Sadly, we can no longer afford their jumpers but it was a real treat to visit.”

“Lovely cafe/restaurant ? great staff and tasty food. I Normally have the soup and sandwich combo, but unfortunately there wasnt any vegetarian/ vegan soup available, only for meat eaters, so i was a bit disappointed on this visit. ? maybe chef could make 2 soups available for vegetarians/vegans and the omnivores daily. Just an idea, after all its "The Planta cafe" Grest for gluten free and other dietary requirements.”

“Really nice place to just grab a bite and settle down for a coffee. I hadn't been here for a while so I was surprised it had revamped and moved across the square but it looks fab!

The staff are all exceptionally friendly and they certainly make the visit a welcomed one. I find in a lot of starbucks, the cold drinks usually taste super weak and watered down but that wasn't the case here. Overall a really nice experience!”
