Incredible attraction that has plenty to offer. The Guided Tour is as wonderful as the colleagues who host it. Products are of the highest quality.

Lovely place, staff and products definitely would recommend

Had a lovely breakfast and coffee here. Plenty of parking, disabled access, and toilets are available, a little more expensive than others, will be back to try lunches.

Every time I return to Elgin, I come Johnston of Elgin. It's like the soul of the small town, representing the most leisurely and high-quality life in this town. I sincerely hope it can exist forever!

We stumbled upon Johnstons of Elgin during our Scottish Tour and decided to make a quick stop. We loved the dainty cafe' inside with fresh food and great service and wished we could have spent more time visiting the mill and the entire operation. The store had a wide array of clothing- alas they felt a bit pricey for us. We hope to be back next time we are in Scotland.

Cafe was a let down as breakfast was mediocre. Service felt forced, not even a smile.Bought some cake which came with a hair in the buttercream.A table behind us were also not happy about waiting for their food and left.Disappointing as we'd travelled for the experience.Produsts in the shop are great and staff mostly lovely.Shame the cafe and shop can't have consistency.

The cashmere tour was insightful. Collum, our guide was knowledgeable and professional. It’s marvelous to get to know the chain of production process ? There’s a coffee shop as well, the pastries are delicious. Whether you’re a local or a tourist by the area, and you’re interested in engineering, fashion or just curious, this is a must do.

We had a fantastic „afternoon tea experience“.I especially enjoyed the one hour tour through the production facilities. Massive thank you to our guide Maura!

Lovely brunch. My first taste of Cullen Skink. The cashmere is really soft but it is very pricey for the banks.
The food in the restaurant was gorgeous. The tour of the factory was very interesting and our guide was so helpful and considerate in view of the weather. I'm afraid the prices were out of our range, but there were some nice things.

Disappointed by recent visit, our first since before covid. Service was slow, we only ordered sandwiches and drinks and the restaurant was quiet. I appreciate costs have gone up but food, in our opinion, was overpriced for what we got.

Really enjoyed the tour of the factory and then had a lovely lunch on site before a bit of retail therapy ! The staff could not have been more helpful

The food is fantastic but the only downside is some of the staff. I get the impression that the middle aged waitresses can’t be bothered, as they offer no welcoming smile, greeting nor banter, all of which should be present in the hospitality trade. One of the best is the bearded man in his twenties, who has a welcoming pleasant, demeanour.

This was a last minute add to our itinerary and I’m so glad it was! It was fascinating to see the process of making cashmere and to get to feel the materials throughout. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The store is really nice as well!
