Lovely cafe/restaurant ? great staff and tasty food. I Normally have the soup and sandwich combo, but unfortunately there wasnt any vegetarian/ vegan soup available, only for meat eaters, so i was a bit disappointed on this visit. ? maybe chef could make 2 soups available for vegetarians/vegans and the omnivores daily. Just an idea, after all its "The Planta cafe" Grest for gluten free and other dietary requirements.

The vegan pizza was absolutely delicious. Good selection of moderately priced but great wines. Service was gracious and friendly.

Food : 10/10Service 15/10Atmosphere: 10/10The food is incredible , you will come to try it from all around a true gem in Elgin. However, the service is what will make you come back time and time again. Nothing overbearing or fake, just good people being personable and running a great restaurant. Our experience; We ordered the seafood platters and half lobster thermidor which is a new addition. (Best seafood we've had, so good my partner who has an unjustly hatred of smoked salmon tried some and she loved it)Sourced that day locally obviously dependent on the catch of the day, the chef came out and apologised that they didn't have crab claws so asked if he could substitute for an extra langoustine, furthermore said he felt the lobster he had left was a bit small for his standards to do half, so would serve whole at no extra cost.Secondly: The waitress who took our order and many other tables on that busy night, stopped to give extra service to a child. They wanted to see the deserts that are stored above the counter and out of easy sight for a child. Asking the child first, she lifted them up to pick from a vast selection. The child politely asked for a strawberry with it, not sure if it was supposed to be part of the desert or not, but regardless she said of course and cut up a fresh strawberry for I'm sure her happiest customer of the night.

A nice meal with family. Two vegans, two vegetarians and meat eaters so very mixed diners and we were able to all have a selection which we all enjoyed. However we went at lunchtime but they only do pizza at night. Fryer was being cleaned when we went so no fries available.

We absolutely loved this place! The food was amazing! Had the avocado, halloumi, poached egg, as well as the Principessa Pizza. Both perfect. The atmosphere was great, music choice on point, and the servers (Evie and Taylor) were wonderfully friendly and efficient! Can’t wait to return!

As authentic a Neapolitan as I've had for a while, soft and crunchy crust. Not an easy pizza dough to work with or get right. If you come here and order pasta you're a fool.
I ordered the Piadina Planta which was a classic Italian flatbread filled with roasted vegetables and a vegan mozzarella cheese. The bread had just the right mix of char and crunch. The sweetness of the roasted vegetables cut perfectly through the richness of the gooey cheese. All together it was very tasty and moreish meal. I’m usually a big meat eater but this was a welcome fresh change. First time coming and will definitely be coming back while also recommending friends.

This was the big surprise of our trip to Elgin. We ventured here on a Sunday morning to have breakfast because there wasn't a lot open and honestly it so far surpassed our expectations it can't be overstated! Because it's a pizzeria by night we perhaps weren't expecting much. I had French toast and my husband had pancakes with all the trimmings and both were truly excellent, as was the coffee! The wait staff were also very friendly. Honestly we would go back in a heartbeat! They were rightfully fairly busy. I wish them every success!

With us both being vegan and having two dogs, it's not always easy to find places to eat! We visited Elgin and were initially looking for just coffee and cake but the first place we discovered didn't allow dogs. We stumbled upon Planta and not only did they allow the dogs but had some wonderful and tasty vegan options on the menu. We had a lovely pizza and pasta followed by an oat milk latte and a tasty flapjack. Definitely recommend!!Vegetarian options: Plenty vegan options on starters and mains in both pizza and pasta. Great to see.

Really good food and coffee. Friendly and prompt service. Would be 5 stars but there was a chip on the edge of my plate (not an edible one!)
