I wanted a nice meal for my birthday. Our experience of local restaurants was disappointing so we decided to go to Zaika for takeaway were I have always had fresh, tasty, and good value for money. It's difficult to tell from the outside just how good this place is.....However it's an absolute gem of a place! The food is lovingly prepared by an Indian chef that absolutely knows his trade.Been 4x, and I'll go no where else..

Me and my girlfriend walked passed here loads of times and never noticed the place really then finally one day we noticed and thought we would give it a bash. Best decision ever.I would say this is the best curry in elgin, and its not even close. Everything is 10 tastes times fresher than everywhere else and the man who owns the shop is a delight aswell, always happy and smiling.When we order 2 currys the order usually takes at least 20 minutes but i believe thats because everythings cooked from scratch and id rather wait for top notch food then get rubbish in 5 minutes.Highly recommended!

decided to try for first time we ordered lamb rogan josh, chicken tikka sultani, the meat was plentiful and tender, good heat and tasty. plenty rice and tandoori chapatis were a great change to Nan bread. this will be our place to go for a curry, loved it.
