Very friendly and welcoming staff with a great choice of menu.We requested a candle on the top of my dad's Knickerbocker Glory for his birthday, and was presented with a birthday waffle and candle on top. Felt very special.

Dreadful experience today. Calling in while visiting the area myself, my sister-in-law and our 4 young children were forcibly removed from the premises (my sister-in-law got a hand placed on her back and was actually pushed out of the shop!!), being told they were a member of staff down and very busy!?! No, 'sorry, would you mind a wait' or be with you soon, but told to 'just go, can't you see the plates stacked up, can't you see we're busy?'. Apparently we were 'creating a scene' by asking if we could maybe just take 4 scoops of ice cream away. Absolutely gobsmacked by the appalling customer service, have never experienced this anywhere before.Having been several times before and reading these reviews it seems to be an isolated incident, but needless to say we will NOT be returning.

IThis shop mainly caters for ice-creams, although there also sandwches, baguettes etc available. Food all seems to fresh and have no complaint in the few times I've been dining. Would thorouhly recommend. Great place for kids
