We had such a wonderful experience at Trellis! We were a big group and they accommodated the reservation beautifully, even when we awkwardly changed around the numbers. The staff were lovely, the space is stunning with gorgeous views and the food and drinks were delicious. Thank you so much!

The best breakfast we've had in Scotland! Have a breakfast meet the deals and come back for a coffee! Highly recommend the eggs and French Toast! Huge serving sizes, well priced and outstanding service! I wish we were local we'd be here weekly!Parking: Huge amount of free parking behind the cafe!

I don‘t usually write google reviews but the caramel brownies from this café just call for it! They were so delicious that we came back the next day to get more. I mean, these are the very definition of brownies. This gooey texture and rich chocolaty flavor is probably why brownies were invented. I wish my wedding cake consisted of these brownies. If you are in the area, you simply have to try them!

Frittata with salad was my choice. Frittata lovely, salad interesting - water melon, raw broccoli and lettuce. Wife had soup with bread and being Scottish and very keen on soup felt it was too salty and the bread wasn't as fresh as it should be. Staff pleasant, very clean restaurant, interesting view of the Foveran Burn from the window plus a great outdoor space to eat. As a regular customer who comes away happy - disappointed that wife's meal wasn't of usual standard. Along with one tea and one soft drink paid £18.10.

Stopped off for lunch while doing the NEOS tour . Lovely new cafe with outdoor seating area . The coffee was great- lovely smooth taste . We asked for the chicken salad to be swapped to the garlic chicken which was a ‘ special ‘ baguette . This was refused .. not sure why as we were just asking for it to be a salad instead of a baguette.( I don’t eat bread ) My friends bread was tough and dry . The car parking wasn’t great .. very awkward & lots of spaces taken up by work vans etc due to the renovation of the hotel . The orders were coming out to the wrong tables .. not sure why as we gave table number at the till and numbers are on each table . Plus points for the little shop on site and also dog friendly indoors and outdoors which is a bonus . Has the potential to be really good if food allergies could be catered for , and the parking area was a better layout .

This café is well-managed with tasty food and nice outdoor seating. The menu has a nice array of options. I had the Banh Mi sandwich, which was delicious. Their peach iced tea is the best I’ve ever had. As an American southerner, I’ve had my fair share. Highly recommend this little gem of a café.

Called in here without a booking at a busy lunchtime but staff found a table for us. Good selection of coffees and light meals served by very hard working and enthusiastic staff who (unlike many other similar places) looked happy to be there and made the experience very enjoyable. Highly recommend and will certainly return myself.

this cafe was recommended but we found the food not very good, was it a bad day, I don't know but each of our meals was wanting, over cooked, dry and chewy fratatta, we did not complain. However, my other friend chewed on a piece of string in her pulled pork roll. Staff we very nice and cakes looked lovely but we decided to pay and go.
