Beware of the funny opening times of this cafe that they only post in the window! Read so many good reviews of it.There was ourselves, 5 of us plus two other couples who wasted a journey there.

Charming community-run cafe staffed by volunteers, serving a selection of homemade soups and sandwiches and an excellent cooked breakfast. Well worth a visit.

Good quality food at an amazing price, full breakfast with tea and toast for £7 the meat was excellent quality all from the local butcher. Friendly service that I can only describe as proper highland hospitality.

Wow what a fantastic little gem of a cafe, so welcoming, wonderful food with a great atmosphere and the best people you could ever wish to meet. Please stop here and support them. "Run by Kiltearn Parish Church of Scotland and is a registered Charity. Our purpose is to provide a Community Café in a warm and friendly atmosphere for locals and visitors alike. Our Mission Statement includes: “to be a warm and caring presence in Christs name in our Community” Our staff are volunteers with one essential person paid. I love everything about this place. Every customer receives a cheerful smile from the owner as they enter the cafe. He made sure that all customers’ need are look after. The big breakfast is tasty. It has all the Scottish items and just 7 pounds with tea.

What a lovely cafe. It was busy when we were there with two large walking groups. But the voluntary staff coped admirably. I had a sandwich, lemon drizzle cake and 2 coffees and it was only £7. I was amazed. Will definitely be back
