Balconie St, Evanton, DingwallStayed in this wee gem for work for 4 days, hotel with the bar inside first impressions didn't like the single bed however room was booked for me so didn't get a choice, staff nice & friendly and welcoming, outstanding dinner menu and the breakfast is out of this world all butcher and freshly made to order jay the chef nice guy totally brand new, the waitresses and waiters aswell all nice and friendly, I've tried the steak 10/10 tried the pizza 9/10 cheesy chips spot on and of course breakfast 10/10.
Enjoyed my stay here and really had a good laugh aswell with the staff, nice wee pool table aswell in the bar which does help when bored and fancy getting out the room. Locals all friendly aswell really nice wee bar
Overall rating 5* personally for me couldn't fault this wee gem and central to where I was working.

Cornerstone Cafe
16 Balconie St, Evanton, DingwallDuring our trip, we stopped at this lovely café where we enjoyed tea, coffee, and two of the best fruit scones we've had in a while. The staff was amazing; the woman who served us made us feel so welcome. She even recommended we visit the gorge, which we did, and it turned out to be a wonderful hike. If you ever have a chance to visit this café, please do—you won’t regret it!
