Took my baby daughter to the Falkirk wheel today, the cafe food wasn’t bad, there wasn’t any tables inside and balancing a pram and a tray was not easy, however they have a staff member in their cafe, Charlie, who displayed the best piece of customer service I’ve seen in many months. He recognised that even though there were half empty tables none of the other customers were bothering to offer. He took my tray and sorted us somewhere to sit and then brought us our cutlery, all with a pleasant disposition. Top man!

We took part in the chain of freedom event on Saturday 14th of October and went for some food. Having tried the trailer outside first and not really fancying the very limited choice of hot dogs or fries we headed for the cafe inside. We asked if they did cheeseburgers as there was none displayed on the menu. They checked and said yes they did. There was no indication of the price and only when we went to pay for 2 takeaway cheeseburgers, 1 fries and one can of soft drink did we find out the price, a staggering £30.45. I went off to the toilet and the meal had arrived, with thousand island dressing and mustard, both of which I dislike, no cheese and no ketchup. Horrible to say the least and inedible as far as I was concerned. Should we return to the wheel, we will take our own lunch for sure.

Great place for a bite to eat & enjoy the view. So much to see. Would recommend it and a great day out for the whole family.

Nice cafe with great views. Parking $$ is a walk away uphill.

Food variety limited but quality fine. A touch expensive, I don't recall paying £1.95 for a can of fizzy drink before.Wheelchair accessibility: Very good

Visited here with a friend. I had the soup of the day, lentil, with bread and croutons. A choice of breads and one of the tastiest lentil soups I've had in a cafe and it was piping hot. My friend had a scone which was unfortunately a little dry. A dog friendly cafe too.

3 vegetarians and we had mac & cheese we agreed it was tasteless, looked delicious too! They had sold out of baked potatoes, so our choice was limited. It was lovely and clean and very airy. Good service and staff were friendly and polite.
Soup was just warm, plenty croutons and a slice of bread. 2 soups 2 coffee £15.50 not a cheap lunch especially if you are going as a family.

Stopped off to have a coffee and scone before our trip and it was lovely but there wasn’t much choice on scones/ sweet bits which for a cafe I felt let it down a little

Come here regularly when out for a walk, the food and coffee are not bad given its in a tourist area, however the new table service in the cafe seems a bit strange. You have to ask the waitress whats available and it doesn't seem to work well. The old style was better, don't think its suited to table service unless they up the game massively.

We visit often as locals. Food quality and availability is quite variable but the setting always overcomes any qualms.

Excellent setting with great views of The Falkirk Wheel. The menu was quite small but the food was really good and reasonably priced. Fantastic service too.
Excellent cafe, dog friendly too!
