Staying in the local area and so went here on recommendation. We had lovely fish and chips. Cooked fresh there and then. Served piping hot. Nice crisp fully cooked to perfection batter. Chips good too. Couldn’t fault. Great service, friendly. Highly recommend.

Staying in the area and fancied a wee chippy. Ordered two haddock suppers. £9.15 each. Fish cooked to order, few people standing about waiting on their orders. 10 mins wait then we got ours...back to the digs. Fish was stunning, so fresh and with a crispy batter. Chips were good too and a wee tub of tartar sauce as well. Delish.....
This was my least favorite fish and chip shop in Scotland. I was there for 2 weeks, in Edinburgh and then Inverness, taking tours almost daily. The fish was very greasy, and fried in beef fat - which is not great if you don't eat beef and that's why you went to a fish shop. The chips were very average.

Visited around 6.30 on Saturday and it was absolutely packed out the door.The ordering process was very quick and efficient and all the food is cooked fresh once you place your order.The wait was not too long, roughly about half an hour but it was well worth it.The Fish and Scampi Suppers were well worth the wait 10 out of 10.Thank you all at the Fochabers Chippie for your service and our delicious Suppers.
