65 High St, FochabersThe ladies serving were lovely, the food was amazing, especially the cakes and the hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows was delicious. Would highly recommend. Watch the times, as breakfast finishes at 11 and lunch at 2pm. They do drinks and cake after that.

South Rd, Garmouth, FochabersWe were in apt 4, which had a large living area and a decent size bedroom with a bathroom off it.
There was a small garden area of it with a table and 2 chairs for sitting out.

The Quaich Cafe
The Quaich, 85 High St, FochabersHad the scampi and chips. Very clean, lovely decorated cafe. Service was excellent and food came quickly. I will definitely visit again sometime. Highly recommend.

Fochabers Ice Cream Parlour
33-35 High St, FochabersIt was such a relief to enjoy a milkshake after a game of cricket on a super sunny day. They serve some tasty ice cream and milkshakes. I had a Mars bar milkshake and it was good. You can also get some good handmade biscuits from this ice cream Parlour. Parking can be a bit difficult during busy days.

Milano Pizza
1 The Square, FochabersI ordered a chicken calzone which was huge and absolutely jam packed with big chunks of chicken. It was beautifully cooked and very tasty. Well worth the money. I just couldn’t do it justice unfortunately. Being totally honest far too much for 1 person even if I had been absolutely starving. My advice order one between two.

Fochabers Fish Bar
19 High St, FochabersProbably one of the best chippys in the Elgin area. Be prepared for a wait but it is worth it. The fish is white and flakes apart covered just right in a light and crispy batter.
The jumbo haddock would feed 2 or just one with a healthy appetite. Meal comes with a small tub of tartare sauce.
Thoroughly recommend them and now are favourite chippy.

Gordon Castle Walled Garden (Café closed Mon/Tues)
A96, FochabersWe went over for the Sunday Roast lunch and it was delicious especially because it was a cold and rainy afternoon. The gardens were beautiful and we bought a leek and some potatoes to make a soup. \n We did see the exterior of the castle but we were disappointed that there aren’t any tours of the castle.
