65 High St, FochabersDropped in for the first time to have morning coffee and scones. All delicious. Cafe well laid out and warm. Staff friendly and welcoming. Not long to wait to be served. Highly recommend this place.

Fochabers Ice Cream Parlour
33-35 High St, FochabersLove this ice-cream parlour! Revisited this in memory of finishing the Moray Way long-distance path there 7 years ago. We were SO pleased to see it has hardly changed! Delicious ice cream and friendly service. A real gem!

Fochabers Fish Bar
19 High St, FochabersStaying in the local area and so went here on recommendation. We had lovely fish and chips. Cooked fresh there and then. Served piping hot. Nice crisp fully cooked to perfection batter. Chips good too. Couldn’t fault. Great service, friendly. Highly recommend.

1 The Square, FochabersThe first time I tried this takeaway, very good selection of pizzas, pasta,kebabs, etc. The donner kebabs with salad and sauce, we had were very good, and we will probably be back, gave 4 stars, as more expensive than others in the area.

Gordon Castle Walled Garden (Café closed Mon/Tues)
A96, FochabersDidn't go round the gardens but did visit the café which was lovely and cosy with a massive log burner stove on which we were sat beside..I had the pea and bacon soup and sandwich option which was sooo filling I ended up taking the 3/4 of my sandwich home (coronation chicken and salad) husband had the local sausages and mash with peas and it came smothered with onion gravy ?. Didn't have to wait long for food to arrive and the waiter Alistair was polite and friendly.. will definitely be back to try something else on the menu.

Fochabers Chinese Take Away
91 High St, FochabersPleasant service, Chicken fried rice and Egg fried rice were delicious. Not to mention reasonably priced. Makes the occasional treat affordable. Which, in this day and age of crossing more and more places off the list, means a lot.
