Unfortunately, Jeet has gone downhill recently. Ordered a take-out online and given a time slot of 18.15. Got there on time, but the order hadn't been put through to the kitchen. Waited 40mins whilst they got my order ready. The restaurant itself wasn't that busy. Another customer who arrived around 20mins after me waited only 10mins before his food was ready. An apology from one of the team was rather lame.When I got home, the food was warm at best. I couldn't be bothered contacting them to complain. Given the tentative apology when I was leaving I doubt they would have been interested.I have used Jeet for take-out and eating in since moving to Forfar 2 1/2 yes ago and unfortunately have had to wait for take-out but not 40mins after my time slot. I won't use Jeet in future, there are other restaurants in Forfar just as good. I'm sure the loss of one customer won't phase them given the laisefair attitude.

Ordered a collection. We fancied trying this place that's 14 miles away but definitely won't be going back.Our order over £40 was going well until I got home and discovered NO sauce with the main Tandoori mixed grill with pilau rice and the Kingprawn was just the tail end of one prawn. My partner called and they said "next time they will give us a free sauce"? not free when we paid for something we didn't get in the 1st place?My partner went on about how it ruined 1 of the main meals which it did but basically then said will give you poppadoms free next time???My partner didn't really enjoy her Danshak curry either but was probably put off after her phoning to complain.So all in all not good and won't be back and definitely wouldn't recommend.

Was cold when it arrived.Suspected food poisoning from chicken dish. My wife was sick 2 hours after eating itAlso cauliflower dish looked like it had a rotten bit on it.

Ordered a takeaway and it took over 2 hours to arrive. As an apology we were told it would include some extra food (poppadoms and chutney) that we chose over the phone - those were missing . Food was meant to be mild in one dish and medium in the other but they were both very hot. Disappointing.

Once seated we were cordially greeted by a young well presented lad, took our drink order with a smile, great start!As a party of four he helped explain the menu & made suggestions of the best dishes.Portions are enormous, good value & flavoursome without being too spicy!I would say this is the go to place to eat in Forfar even higher rated than a The Stag!Only improvement to be made, would be bring back the Golden Dragon Christmas lantern decorations!I was so good my wife left her first ever tip!

We had dinner for two. The food was very tasty and filling. The service was excellent - relaxed and polite. We felt we got our moneys worth and overall had a great dining experience; enough to seek out trip advisor and write good a review!
