194-198 E High St, ForfarI do call myself a curry a bit of a curry expert , and I have to say my night here was fantastic on all counts. The food was amazing , the service was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble .All round a great food experience,where we will definitely be back . \nWill be recommending to all my friends, and thank you \nRupali Palace for a great meal , worth every penny.

Service was very good, not much wait for our food. We had our five year old with us and the staff were great with her.
We were informed the Mothers day menu was only for mums, so we asked if we both could order from the same menu and they were more than happy to accommodate, this was a great touch as the menu had our favorite dishes on it and we were not disappointed, I asked for my Jeet Special Curry Vindaloo hot and this wasn't a problem.
We would recommend sit in or take away to anyone who loves a good home cooked Indian.

Cravin Crrispy Forfar
3-5 Queen St, ForfarAbsolutely a MUST to go to!! Amazing service and even better food! Me and my partner come here every few months as a treat, not only was our order remembered we also got free churros on the house!! ? always have banter with the staff and is an all round top tier place to go to never been disappointed here! 10/10

2 Berrymoss Lane, ForfarGreat service. Great food, the Sunday Roast was fantastic - we went with the large meal and we both struggled to finish it. The Prawn Cocktail starter was divine. The ambience is typical of gastro pub restaurants, the chairs were very comfortable, and the setting was easy on the eye. plenty of parking and close to the city as well as the main A90. Definitely eating here again and recommending our friends also

Curry kingdom
81 South St, ForfarI had meal for one delivered with chicken pakora and onion chutney and poppadoms then lamb passanda with rice and peshwari naan. Everything was fabulous! Delivery was quick. Poppadoms were the freshest I've had. Lamb in the curry was cooked spot on. Other places over cook. This was perfect. Will definitely be back and definitely recommend.

Dinos Kebab - Forfar
65 Castle St, ForfarGreat place for a good meal every time. Service is really good too, and when ordering delivery its always less than an hour. Wee thought I had is providing a choice of dip for pizzas - would really add to the meal. Thanks guys, for providing a constant good service - never been let down by Dinos!

16-18 Castle St, ForfarFirst time I have been in here, in fact it's the first time I have been into a Costa for over 2 years since I moved up here. Always get a great hot chocolate. This one was the after eight mint flavour, it is very tasty. The cafe was clean, warm and inviting, and very quiet. The usual test and trace was in place. Well worth a visit.

Castle Club
100-108 Castle St, ForfarWent here for the first time today for lunch . Hubby had the batter haddock with chips, which very good . I had a coronation chicken sandwich which Was nice too, just the bread wasn’t the best . The service was excellent, very friendly . Would definitely go back .

No other place near Forfar can offer what this place does, whether that's a quirky drink you've never seen in person before, or a live music performance from top quality entertainers, both old and new.
5-star hospitality - free pies at the weekend and helpful, friendly staff, what more could you ask for?
They have supported us in all of our endeavours with things like sponsorship of events, coffee discounts for our members, and much more - we even brought World's Strongest Man competitor, Mateusz Kieliszkowski, here for a pint and he loved it!

West End Bar
121 W High St, ForfarThis was a pleasant place to go drink and talk to the locals. my friend said we'll go here because there's no fights and it's close to the police department which is right down the street. it was great we got into a fight at closing time right outside on the street, it was all over in 5 minutes. It's a cash-only bardon't plan on buying everybody's drink with your credit card ring cash.

Sultan Turkish Restaurant
127 Castle St, ForfarWe went here for an evening meal, we hadn’t been for a while but on this hot sunny day it just felt the right place. The atmosphere always reminds me of being on holiday. \nThe food was excellent, the place was pleasantly cool being on the shady side of the street and the service was casual, friendly and efficient. Always very clean and there was authentic Turkish music playing quietly in the background.

23 Osnaburg St, ForfarIt's very rare in life that things live up to our expectations; the reality rarely matches the dream. Now imagine that what you've been imagining, holds incredibly personal and special value to you, and it's even less likely that the thing or place connected to that will be able to live up to those preconceived hopes. Osnaburg Street is an exception to that rule; Osnaburg Street is where my mum, her sister, my gran and grandad lived in the years before the war; a war that (amongst other things) led to the family latterly relocating to the south of England, causing me to be in the first generation born south of the border. After mum passed, I made the journey to Forfar, to see the street she grew up on; the chippy where my gran would have bought their fish suppers, and the pub that my grandad would have had a pint or two in. You can imagine how much it meant to me to find a street that oozes charm, originality and social history, given its relevance to my family. Unfortunately as my time was limited, I didn't get to have that fish supper, but I did buy things in two of the shops there and had a few pints of 80 Shillings with the locals who were a warm credit to both the town and the street. If you long for days gone by, and an escape from the plastic, glass and stainless steel of today's soulless world, this is one place you should visit and soak up real life and real people.

95-97 E High St, ForfarJust like to thank Cathie/y Petrie and all the staff for hosting an amazing 50th birthday party for my friend Emma. All our friends from Glasgow Aberdeen Forfar all had a weekend to remember. From the start to finish. Highly recommend this pub. Very friendly and great keeping the tables clean, removing dirty glasses, and rubbish. Very impressed a wee diamond in the rough. Thank you all once again. Emma's 50th weekend knee's up.

12-14 The Cross, ForfarLovely hotel staff so friendly, room so comfortable, there are a lot of stairs up to reception and above from floors. (There is a lift from entrance to reception). ...I stayed for 4 nights...was a bit worried walking from car park through walk way to hotel as I was on my own, but fine if you have someone with you at night...fine during the day.

137 E High St, ForfarPlace was jumpin' when we visited last weekend. They had live singer on Friday nidght and a DJ playing great tunes on the Saturday. Prices don't break the bank either!
