Food...meh! ok, Coffee...my first thought was stewed water! I think it was the end of a weak pot. At the till there was no "How was everything?" I think they knew, so I didn't say. Don't think I'll be back.

14 Dundee Ramblers had lunch in Purdy’s after our walk round Forfar Loch. Food was very good, excellent service and a great atmosphere. We will be back, thanks very much.Dietary restrictions: They had several gluten free options

My son and i went later in the afternoon it was nice and quiet. My son had a burger that was freshly made and very good, according to him! He had a cake, I presume they are home made? Also very nice. Reasonable priced.

Spent a full morning waiting for car flat tyre to be fixed while working on laptop. Coffee with bacon & scrambled egg bagel was delicious, much better than your coffee shop chains plain food. Local produce and the homemade cheese scone was brilliant. Friendly, cosy wee cafe, busy which tells you how good it is. Will be going back very soon.

Good bacon roll. Filter coffee a bit weak but decent, and the table service was prompt and polite. Busy wee place on a Saturday morning.

We went in for a coffee and as the place was quite busy thought we would be in luck. After sitting on the plastic covered, very upright seats we asked for espressos. Only to be told they only sold instant or filtered coffee. Even it had said it was a tea room of a cafe I wouldn’t have been so surprised but a coffee shop that doesn’t the facilities to make coffee! Really!

Fantastic range of Gluten free Forfar is famous for its Bridies but should also be famous for Purdys Coffee House. Lot's of homemade gluten free options, the pancakes and homemade jam were particularly delicious. So if you are in Forfar make sure you stop in here... you won't be disappointed

Excellent little cafe. Staff were very friendly and informative about local area. My impression of the food was that it was all locally sourced, very nice. Excellent value for money. Coffee are lush! Would highly recommend if you’re passing through.
