Always amazing, I come with my young girls and they love it. Brilliant to finish a cuppa tea and cake, or more while they play. The staff are always amazing and chat, very helpful and friendly, And for the prices, very very reasonable.

Dear Woodbank farm and coffee shop Management,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to provide feedback on my recent visit to your café on Wednesday 4th September 2024.
Unfortunately, my experience was not up to the standard I have come to expect from your establishment. The café was busier than usual, which I completely understand; however, the service I received left much to be desired.
- Upon arrival, I was not greeted, and the first staff member who spoke to me mentioned there would be a 5 to 10-minute wait to be served, which was understandable given the busyness. However, the way this was communicated felt abrupt.
- While waiting, I was near the entrance to the children's play area and was asked not to stand in the doorway. I was simply on my way to order while speaking with my mum. The tone of this request made me feel uncomfortable.
- When I asked for our table to be cleaned, I acknowledged how busy the staff were and indicated there was no rush. However, I was handed a cloth to clean the table myself, which felt quite inappropriate, though I did receive an apology later, which I appreciated.
- When our order arrived, the tray was placed on the table, and as I went to take my son’s plate because he was very hungry, the waitress abruptly told me she would empty the tray herself thank you. This interaction felt unnecessarily curt.
- The children’s play area was in a disappointing state, with very few toys available, many of which were either broken or dirty.
- Lastly, the food quality was below expectations. The toastie was chewy and seemed to have been reheated, and the coffee cups were very small for the price charged. For a scone, a toastie, a children’s picky plate, and two coffees, the total of £22. felt excessive especially given the overall experience.
I wanted to share this feedback as I have enjoyed visiting your café in the past, and I hope these issues can be addressed to improve the experience for future customers.

We've been regulars at Wood Side Farm Shop for the past six years, and it’s become a favourite spot for our family. My kids absolutely love it here. The soup is not only delicious but also incredibly healthy, making it a perfect option for them. They truly enjoy everything the shop has to offer. It's a fantastic place for families!

Great place, always a lovely welcome, food great always a great selection of home baking my favourite...the ginger bread or the apple pie love the mushroom soup writing this review is making me hungry thinking of all the good food. The vegetables in the shop always look lovely great place to see the farm animals. Highly recommend.
