Hearth At The Old Mill Inn Brodie
7, Brodie, ForresMy wife and I visited this restaurant as the place we were staying at, highly recommended it to us. Hearth is what is says it is, Scottish food with a bit of fun. We did three courses along with lovely glasses of wine with each course. The service was personalised, attentive and we particularly enjoyed Leena’s knowledge in food and wine. The food was beautiful not just to look at but also to taste. Thank you to the entire team for such an exceptional evening. Highly recommend Hearth!

Was up there through work and the first time I went in it was pretty quiet but I was soon included in the conversations and banter between Dave the barman and the locals who were in. Dave was very friendly and I enjoyed the banter with him and although I,ve moved away again we still keep in touch for a catch up.

94, Findhorn, ForresThis is honestly my favourite pub I have ever been to!I went last week with some friends and had the pleasure to meet Charlotte who is an absolute gem! She was funny, caring and just added to the experience. I also met the chef briefly Steven who was lovely and you can tell has a real passion for the industry.I had the fish and chips what was delicious and very fresh.The star of the show however was the Guinness. This was the best Guinness I’ve had outside of Ireland and you can tell why just from the photo.10/10 would recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

50 High St, ForresI was Terrified making this order as my last order was so offputing, To say the least I was surprised by the Increase of quality In the Chicken Pakora It wasn't just Chicken Painted Red like everywhere else in town, The Donner Meat was also surprisingly good. Although I'm still never ordering anything that I would normally have salad with just to be on the safe side. Takeaway Salad can't be trusted.

64-66 High St, ForresFood was excellent. The Shajon was a new twist on a dish I've tried before and the Chicken Tikka Garlic was excellent. Pilau rice and garlic naan were well prepared and presented. Poppadoms were nice and crisp with a good selection of dips. We'll definitely be going back to Cardamom Spice.

Nairn Rd, ForresWe use this Costa when shopping at Tesco. The staff and service are first class. Since COVID our visits have been less frequent but what must be noted is the staff’s attention to cleanliness and covid rules including track and trace. All the procedures followed rigorously especially cleaning of tables etc, immediately a customer leaves.This not found in other establishments.All of the staff here are a credit to your company and must be commended.

No frills admittedly and not a place for a first date or a quiet drink but such a good atmosphere. Everyone was incredibly friendly, the toilets weren't half as bad as I had expected and I had a fabulous night!!

Absolutely disgusting. Decided to do a Google search & this wee place popped up & thought we'd give it a try. Wasn't holding out much hope though...How wrong was I.! I ordered beef chow mean, stir fried with no sauce. My man had the chicken curry with fried rice & a portion of salt & pepper chips. Food was outstanding, very tasty & reasonable price too. Finally after searching for 2 years we have found our place. & we'll be back. Allan was lovely & friendly too.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options available

143 High St, ForresSpeedy pepper has always been one of my favourites but recently started coming more frequently and it's better than I remember, their food is so good every time and the atmosphere is amazing.Recently introduced my girlfriend to speedy pepper and she agrees that it's some of the best pizza and chips cheese and curry sauce like we got tonight and tonight's has been the best she's had.They definitely go above and beyond when it comes to both food and service I would highly recommend them.

Being Yorkshire has very few disadvantages, this is one . Otherwise, top class, fish lovely, batter spot on, but a 'bun' should have a diameter greater than 3 inches. 149 High St, ForresGreat kebab shop in Forres - visited last night as my normal takeaway is closed. I was pleasantly surprised with how tasty the lamb Donner was, not at all fatty and spiced really well. Portion sizes were generous and not one complaint with the whole meal.To be honest I really enjoyed my Kebab, Chips and Cheese and cost £20 for a meal for two, definitely will visit again.
