“Local pub with good food. We were a group of 8 and called ahead to ensure food was available.We were welcomed in by a cheery happy staff member and quickly had our drinks at the table while the food order was taken down.The atmosphere was friendly and homely.Food arrived in good time and was very tasty and plenty of it. We enjoyed some extra drinks and then walked back down to our accomodation.Thoroughly recommend The Star for a super warm welcome and grand food.”
