High Trees at Cockhill, Renmure, ArbroathWe came here yesterday for the first time.I had the cheeseburger which came with chips side salad etc.My husband had the fishcakes we both though the food was delicious and will be back again in the near future.

Star Inn
14 Gardyne St, Friockheim, ArbroathLocal pub with good food. We were a group of 8 and called ahead to ensure food was available.We were welcomed in by a cheery happy staff member and quickly had our drinks at the table while the food order was taken down.The atmosphere was friendly and homely.Food arrived in good time and was very tasty and plenty of it. We enjoyed some extra drinks and then walked back down to our accomodation.Thoroughly recommend The Star for a super warm welcome and grand food.

The Railway Inn
1 Gardyne St, Friockheim, ArbroathHomely little pub. Well laid out. Good selections of beer & other drinks. They also do meals, but I didn't eat on this visit & and so I can't comment, but other people seemed to be enjoying what they were eating. Friendly staff. Was pretty quiet when I visited, but then the little village of Friockheim is a quiet little place itself. Decent wee stop for a pint or two.
