Beautiful service. Beautiful venue. I was made to feel welcome as soon as I walked through the door. The table settings were perfectly presented & I knew with that level of effort was put into that fine detail the food would be outstanding.Really enjoyed the ambience & the meal was top quality! I think it's obvious that the owners & staff working in the restaurant have too much pride in their business to allow any customer to have a disappointing experience.

Meet with a charming welcome the service was first class. Drinks came quickly, plenty of time to study the extensive menu. Our choices of Chicken Pakora, Balti Chicken, Tarka Daal and Plain Naan were delicious. Finished off with a lovely conversation with the head waitress. Bravo.Vegetarian options: The Tarka Daal was rich and creamy and very subtly spiced. Beautiful.

My wife and I called for a meal early in the evening and midweek before going to an event at MacArts. We are both vegetarian and had been wandering if we would find anywhere suitable. I was pleased to find Gala Tandoori answered the call perfectly. Delicious food and service, value for money and a good atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone. Thanks again.Vegetarian options: All standard curries came as a vegetarian option.

Was out with a few pals from Stow. Had the tandoori mixed grill and it was very nice indeed.

Gala Tandoori is not in the liveliest section of High Street but do not pass this by. Exceptional Indian food here. One of their specialties is Balti cooking (NE India, Hindu origin), which we’d never had. The Balti Garlic Masala was fresh and delicious - a wonderfully balanced dish. Very clean restaurant, btw. And friendly, welcoming service. Great break from a string of Scottish/English fare.

Food was very poor and one of the dishes brought to the table was wrong. Quite expensive compared to our last visit in April with reduced quantity.

First time at this lovely family restaurant. It will not be the last. The food was excellent. All freshly prepared and great variety. The nan bread was sublime. The tarka dahl was also amazing. We were delighted with everything. Dad was cooking and mum was front of house with the teenage kids helping with service. We chatted with them and it was so nice to be in a family restaurant. I asked for a sweet lassi to drink and although it was not on the menu they were happy to make me one and it was excellent. To top it all, it was very reasonable priced. Highly recommended.

A lovely little restaurant! We were looked after by Audrey, who was courteous, helpful and very lovely. Overall, a great experience and well worth checking out if you're in the vicinity ?
