The Kebab Shop Galashiels
26 High St, GalashielsBought a chicken and shish kebab. Very generous portion of best quality meat that was cooked to perfection. Seperate sauce and salad (I requested seperate) that was super fresh, delicious and generous (2 tubs of sauce).
No long wait, modern and pleasant shop, padded seating while waiting and super friendly staff.
Even got a napkin which is appreciated.
Other kebab shop owners
should visit here to see how it should be done.

Working in the area again, had the shish kebab (£8) this place is very good. Highly recommended.
Grilled meat, fresh salad and sauce with low fat pitta bread, beats deep fat fried chippy crap every day of the week (unless you like being obese).

There was a big line but she wasn't stressed and patiently took our long order, even telling us how to save money with deals that were going on. The food and coffee was good too

I went with my baby, and she opened the door for me and assisted me. I asked about food, and she showed me the fridge and the outdoor cupboard and said, “Help yourself.” She also told me when their café is open.
She is lovely and very kind.

Ruined our family time there so we either go elsewhere or rush our meal now as it's like waiting for it to happen again as it can be a frequent thing if they don't recognise you or you are passing through but extremely nosey and it's enough to be off-putting if you let it??????

Lamb chop starter was great and portion nice size. Lamb Biryani was great too, too much for one person - but only 4stars as sauce was just sauce, no vegables as most restaurants provide.
