“I celebrated a big zero birthday recently at home with family & friends for which Michelle (owner) supplied an amazing buffet. The variety, quality & quantity were excellent. It was all organised at home for me so I didn’t even have to think about the food for everyone. Michelle laid it all out including my birthday cake which she had made & decorated with lovely fresh flowers. Everyone was so impressed with both the savoury & sweet selections. She also left the kitchen spotless when she left.I can highly recommend Michelle for this kind of occasion & her prices are very reasonable. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her services again.”

“We travelled over 300 miles from Northumberland to meet an ‘online’ friend of 4 years, for the first time. Tartan. & Tweed were Recommended to us and we weren’t disappointed. We and our two dogs were made very welcome, not just a restaurant also an amazing gift shop. We enjoyed our first Christmas dinner of 2024 which was overwhelmingly delicious, plenty of succulent turkey and all the trimmings. What a pity it’s too far from home to be our regular haunt.”
