Dishes were all good and overall priced reasonably!
We were £110 for 2 x 3 courses and bottle of wine.
Would definitely return if in Girvan, but unlikely, Girvan looking rather undown with empty shops.

Ainslie Car Park, GirvanGood place to stop for tea , coffee , snacks . Situated on the edge of Girvan , it has good choice of takeaway food and drinks . I always go there if I’m in the area , good views of Ailsa Craig .

32 Glendoune St, GirvanStopped here because of the good Google reviews. When we first went in I wasn’t sure we had made the right decision but I was proved wrong. The food was excellent, all freshly cooked, the service was fab and the price very reasonable! I would definitely recommend!!

China moon Restaurant & takeaway
56 Montgomerie Street, GirvanWe are up visiting from yorkshire and decided to treat ourselves to a takeaway. We are a family of 7 and we got various dishes. Honestly one of the nicest chinese takeaways we have had. The vegetable chow mein and the chicken and mushroom dishes deserve special mention! We really enjoyed them. Was all cooked quickly and perfectly. Thankyou!

Wildings Hotel & Restaurant
Maidens Road, Maidens, GirvanWe had a wonderful stay. The staff are friendly and professional.Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spacious and clean, the food was tasty and beautifully presented We would definitely return to this hotel if came back to this area of Scotland again.

Girvan Gelateria
17 Bridge St, Ayrshire, GirvanThe ice cream cart has to be one of the best things we booked for our wedding! We thought 9 flavours was loads and would be easy to pick but we really struggled to narrow it down, they all sounded so incredible.
On the day we certainly weren’t disappointed; the ice cream cart was so pretty and the gelato and sorbet were unreal! It went down a storm with all our guests (especially the kids) and was the perfect addition to our sunny wedding day.
A little added bonus that we weren’t expecting was that we got to take home all the leftover gelato. We had weeks of different ice cream every night after dinner, it was amazing!
Thank you so much for being the perfect addition to our day!

Maly's Cafe
13 Dalrymple Street, GirvanLovely cafe this, stopped here whilst having a pit stop at Girvan, after seeing the town on Sunday morning TV. The waitress was so friendly but the reason for the review was how nice she and the cafe was to our dog. It was just refreshing to be in a place that didn't see them as a nuisance. She made there was water, and they put the sausage in a bowl cut up. It was just a nice touch. The food we had was really well cooked, i just wish id had room to sample the selection of cakes. We are really glad we stopped at the town and Maly's cafe

Girvan Pizzeria
92 Dalrymple Street, GirvanGreat little pizzeria. Ordered online and didn't have to wait long. Place looked very clean and well kept. Owner is a fun guy and served us some tasty food. Would go again, if I didn't just pass through the town. Maybe in the future!

Dowhill Farm Cottage, GirvanReally lovely cafe for lunch. The case area in nice and bright and has a play area outside for the children which can been seen easily from the cafe. The food was great!
The shop is lovely too and has some nice homewear and food products.

The Sweetie Shop
5 Dalrymple St, GirvanWe visit this sweetie shop every time we go to Girvan and it never disappoints! Lovely selection to choose from and great to see all the old fashioned jars. Love asking for a quarter of my chosen sweetie, just like the good old days! My son now loves this traditional shop as well, and the prices have remained reasonable so everyone can afford a wee treat with their pocket money - highly recommended!

I had an hawaiian pizza which i really enjoyed, the pizza base was really really nice could tell it was fresh, loved it.
My husband had a bargain box and it was a real bargain, loads of chicken pakoras which were really nicely spiced, very tasty, a cheese burger in a toasted bun, cheesey chips (which had tons of cheese on), donner meat which was really good and a can of pop.
Our combined food came to £19.50! Bargain!!

The baguette was lovely and appeared to be freshly made.

24-26 Bridge Street, Girvan1st time visiting,passed through girvan a good few times and never been, should've been before now, proper chippy,best chips I've had in ages, and the fish was delicious, great counter staff,will definitely be making this my regular stop on way to my caravan,,great prices too, fish supper,burger supper,2x cokes,,,,,,less than £24,,,, value!!!!!
