Wildings Hotel & Restaurant
Maidens Rd, Maidens, GirvanWe were staying here for 2 nights and we don’t normally eat in the hotel restaurant and we ate here both nights! Huge room (room 2) lovely view of the seafront and we were lucky with the weather. Room was comfortable and warm which was needed in February. Very friendly staff, good choice of music on second day at breakfast! Breakfast was lovely ( again apologies to the chef forgot porridge in Scotland is made with water)! Dinner - we loved our dinner on both nights, good choice of meals and great pairing and flavours. Nice selection of wine - would recommend. Thanks for a great stay.

Ainslie Car Park, GirvanGood place to stop for tea , coffee , snacks . Situated on the edge of Girvan , it has good choice of takeaway food and drinks . I always go there if I’m in the area , good views of Ailsa Craig .

Dishes were all good and overall priced reasonably!
We were £110 for 2 x 3 courses and bottle of wine.
Would definitely return if in Girvan, but unlikely, Girvan looking rather undown with empty shops.

32 Glendoune St, GirvanStopped here because of the good Google reviews. When we first went in I wasn’t sure we had made the right decision but I was proved wrong. The food was excellent, all freshly cooked, the service was fab and the price very reasonable! I would definitely recommend!!

Girvan Gelateria
17 Bridge St, Ayrshire, GirvanThe ice cream cart has to be one of the best things we booked for our wedding! We thought 9 flavours was loads and would be easy to pick but we really struggled to narrow it down, they all sounded so incredible.
On the day we certainly weren’t disappointed; the ice cream cart was so pretty and the gelato and sorbet were unreal! It went down a storm with all our guests (especially the kids) and was the perfect addition to our sunny wedding day.
A little added bonus that we weren’t expecting was that we got to take home all the leftover gelato. We had weeks of different ice cream every night after dinner, it was amazing!
Thank you so much for being the perfect addition to our day!

The food is amazing and the staff are so friendly and helpful easy to chat to. There is so much to choose from the menu that you find yourself struggling. I highly recommend Maly’s Cafe ??

92 Dalrymple St, GirvanGreat little pizzeria. Ordered online and didn't have to wait long. Place looked very clean and well kept. Owner is a fun guy and served us some tasty food. Would go again, if I didn't just pass through the town. Maybe in the future!

23-25 Dalrymple St, GirvanAbsolutely lovely place with the friendliest staff. We had breakfast this morning with two boys who at the time we getting bored with travelling, but the staff were brilliant, talking to them and bringing over a colouring book and crayons. My husband had the Scottish fry which looked amazing and piping hot, I had the bacon bap with scrambled egg once again nice and hot. Thank you for dealing with two hangry boys!

The Sweetie Shop
5 Dalrymple St, GirvanWe visit this sweetie shop every time we go to Girvan and it never disappoints! Lovely selection to choose from and great to see all the old fashioned jars. Love asking for a quarter of my chosen sweetie, just like the good old days! My son now loves this traditional shop as well, and the prices have remained reasonable so everyone can afford a wee treat with their pocket money - highly recommended!

10 Bridge St, GirvanReally excellent value for money, cooker fresh in front of you and really tasty.
I had an hawaiian pizza which i really enjoyed, the pizza base was really really nice could tell it was fresh, loved it.
My husband had a bargain box and it was a real bargain, loads of chicken pakoras which were really nicely spiced, very tasty, a cheese burger in a toasted bun, cheesey chips (which had tons of cheese on), donner meat which was really good and a can of pop.
Our combined food came to £19.50! Bargain!!

Dowhill Country Fayre
Dowhill Farm Cottage, GirvanReally lovely cafe for lunch. The case area in nice and bright and has a play area outside for the children which can been seen easily from the cafe. The food was great!
The shop is lovely too and has some nice homewear and food products.

24-26 Bridge St, GirvanThis chippy is the best around and have been going to them for years when passing through Girvan. Great fish suppers with a light, crispy batter and fresh chips that aren't dripping with grease.
