A daycare centre for people with dementia. We phoned Ian's Kitchen and booked a table for 8 at 10.30am the following day for a cooked breakfast. Automatically, we were asked about dietary requirements. I said we had one person who is coeliac and another who is gluten intolerant. The visit was a complete joy. The food was flawless. The service from Jenny and the front of house team was exceptional. They went way beyond that proverbial extra mile for us. Not only in terms of food and service on the day... but in the lengths they went to ahead of our visit! Ian went especially to Browns to buy GF square slice sausage for us. They had none in stock. Browns checked with their other branch in Netherlee. Bingo. Some in stock. GF square slice was then "imported" from Netherlee to Eaglesham by Brown's and collected by Ian's Kitchen! All of this was unknown to us at the time and totally unnecessary at such a busy time of the year! But they did it all without asking and without hesitation! Now THAT is customer service.

Fabulous as always; there with family celebrating my niece’s 30th. From Sheila’s welcome to Ian usual high standard of food ( meeting the requirements of 3 generations) the lunch was faultless. Thanks for another fantastic family celebration

Love eating here. We have never been disappointed with the food, wine and service. The atmosphere is informal and cosy. All food is prepared fresh and from scratch. There’s the choice of set menu or a La carte. It’s not expensive given the exceptional quality of food and service. This was our 4th visit as It’s just under 100 mile round trip for us. But certainly won’t be our last ?

Before it was a trend Ian Brown was all about food provenance and seasonality. He's so slick at it now that you could take it for granted. If you want to eat fresh, Scottish food, cooked to order for you by an experienced chef who is personally there on the tools here is the place. Ians wife runs the room and really adds to the experience with on point customer interaction. Go!

Ian Brown continues to produce wonderful plates of food. Eight of us met for a celebration dinner, choosing widely from the menu over 3 courses and loving every plateful. You can't fault any aspect of this small restaurant, nice ambience created by an attentive Sheila who makes everyone feel at home. What a pity they are retiring when the business is sold. They will be missed. Enjoy while you still can!

This place is incredible. I took my family, and they also raved about it. I have a vegetarian amongst us and they also were delighted at the menu. Food, service, superb. The triple cooked chips are a must. The Jamaican banana crumble, cooked to order is incredible. Get it booked?Vegetarian options: Goats cheese and beetroot tart was incredible.
I'm a chef and it's my wife's birthday yesterday so thought I'd stay local .. had atarters and dinner and some wine .. honestly was amazing , recommended, will be back with family... Nice staff and great food .. must try

Wow, this was a truly delicious meal. Can highly recommend haddock thermidor. But to be honest, I've never had a bad meal here. Very reasonably priced being from their daily specials menu, too. Service is always perfect.
