It is about time a neighbourhood like this had a cafe/restaurant where people can meet and enjoy a good meal without leaving the area.Having said that, I’m sure plenty of people will come some distance to enjoy the atmosphere.
Great last minute choice for birthday meal. Restaurant quiet, but food great as usual. I had my goto Lamb Tagine and a draft Morretti, my wife had the Chicken Satay and a Sauvignon Blanc. Drinks then food served quickly, both meals were excellent, hot and good portions. Chef Greg was out and about chatting with guests and at the end of the meal surprised me with a slice of the best Victoria Sponge dessert for my birthday. Really nice gesture and much appreciated. Had a lovely 90 minutes with friend. Enjoyed really nice French toast with bacon. Lovely and light and tasty. Not had FT for years very nice change. Staff always cheerful and friendly - Thank you for nice meal. Popular place even have singer in some nights. Just check, you may have to book - even in afternoon. See you again in couple of months .???
